I dont understand why it can only be shared after the season is over.
Rice is the same guy who would never address the "hot seat" or coaching issues and then the day he was fired he was pointing out all the different reasons like it was his opinion all along. I despise 99.1 anymore, state run media shills. Players fault until after the coaches are fired,

Same thing happened to Dooley in 2011. The fact that those players were even on the field is a sign this coaching staff doesn’t know what they are doing

You cannot just bench 10-15 starters with 2 games left in the season. If you read the whole Twitter feed of Rice’s, you would understand that the players started loafing after the KY game because they did not want to go to a bowl and practice in December because they know they are gone after the season.
I am sorry we lost today, but Pruitt is cleaning house. He gave everyone the benefit of the doubt this year, but IMO the purge has begun. He knows what he is doing and BTW I was not a supporter of his hire until now.

We'll see which coaches decides to leave now that the season is over. Coaches has a reputation to protect you know. So we will see how many of them are all in.

This staff may fail also... but how does the mess of a roster left by Jones prove that this staff doesn't know what they're doing?

IMO, Jones was the worst UT coach since 1970 at least. He thought of himself as an innovator who was going to reinvent the SEC. He brought new OL "techniques" that the NFL bound OL's left by Dooley refused to do and former players questioned from the start. He brought his own ideas about S&C and physical development. He wanted to physically "design" players in a certain way. On the OL that meant trying to develop strong but relatively light weight players. The result? The LOS players were never strong enough to compete in the SEC nor even quick enough to make a difference. Lots of guys got hurt due to Jones' development and scheme who probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Jones was a terrible leader/manager of players.

His recruiting was overrated- great on paper... worse than Vandy and UK on the field.

As a manager of his staff, he made the people around him worse with his "culture"... and have no doubt that his one true success was to infect the program with his culture. Example... Bob Shoop.

Jones probably reached the upper limit of his coaching ability washing jocks for Tampa Bay... or maybe emptying Saban's trash.

The coaches had a whole year to make improvements in this team. They seemed to regress rather than improve

I say this for reference only and am in no way suggesting a similar result... but Saban's first Bama team appeared to get worse rather than better. He ended up purging a bunch of players before the 2nd year iirc.

You have to WANT TO IMPROVE...and it's obvious that some on this team just lost that "WANT TO"...
Players just lay down and quit sometimes.....It's just true! They just ain't willing to pay the price and work that hard to get better.

Get them out.
Who? They all sucked. None of them gave any effort. Gonna turn all of em loose? Fine with me since there aren’t any that you can win with in this conference. But Rice is dead wrong if he’s gonna put the last 2 weeks on just a handful of players who didn’t wanna practice any more. The entire 85 man roster, all players 1-85, were absolutely atrocious the last 2 weeks.

Saban’s first Bama team never lost a game by more than 7 points. That included close losses to eventual national champions LSU and #2 UGA. That shows they were well coached and fought hard, even after losses and never gave up.

This tweet shows that players have quit on Pruitt. After listening to him bad mouth them on camera every chance he got they finally decided to say “screw this” and quit trying. It’s Pruitt’s job to get this team playing their best. Instead he just talks about how we won’t be good until we get better players.

This kind of crap is why I could never coach. The amount of lawsuits and criminal charges I would face from kids pulling stuff like this would be staggering.

Bad mouthing them publicly and not manning up and taking the blame season one was Pruitts mistake. That was a major fail regardless of whether it was true or not.
