Brian Kelly (Cincinnati)

Another thing - to these guys that say he can't get top recruits. Guess what, you prove you can win games in the SEC, players will come.

He continues to prove he can win and still has people doubting him.
His system works! How else do you play 4 different QBs and sit at the top of your conference?

That's a great question. One none of the hater's want to come close to trying to answer. All we'll get is the Big East sucks garbage....

The more I watch him the more I want him here. He would be a good young proven coach. And I think his style of coaching would give Meyer and Saban fits.

He must be able to coach. We are always talking about recruiting and that is important. The complaint has always, always been that Fulmer can't coach'em up. When you can win with your 4th string QB - THAT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT COACHING.:superman:

That's the question...could Fulmer have won if he had started Jim Bob Cooter?

Does your question really need to be answered or are you just stating the obvious?

Stating the obvious, but your response answered it anyway. I read somewhere that Cincy leads the nation in passing efficiency even though they have used five different QBs. That's good coaching.

Let's say Kelly gets the job. What does our depth chart look like next year at QB? Does Boyd start or can he work magic and make a starter out of Crompton/Stephens/Coleman?

I don't think anybody could help Crompton. Coleman could definitely have some potential. I'd like to see him get some meaningful PT to see what he can do.

if kelly gets it, boyd may not come here. he left wvu because they ran the spread. kelly runs the spread

The last year Kelly coached at Central Michigan, he actually coached two bowl-winning teams. He led Central to a win in the Motor City Bowl then, when there was no one left to coach Cincinnati in their bowl at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, he took them over early and led them to a victory over Western Michigan. The interesting thing is that he used Dantonio's offense against Western, figuring it would be easier for the coaching staff to adapt than the players. Obviously, it worked.
