That Alabama plant Dave Hart got all this rolling... couldn't have wrote a better script to destroy UT athletics.

Phil is one of us! How could he sabotage all of this? This is Currie. I'm glad he's gone, we need to get back to the Vol way!

There's no way on earth incompetence alone is what caused these deals to happen and fall apart. There had to be something going on. And Phil has been lurking around the program hoping to get back in. It makes too much sense.

Now we have national reporters confirming it

No. No. No No. This isn't about Fulmer, Currie or anybody else in the UT administration. This is the work of Haslam and Haslam only. Everyone else is simply a pawn.

If fulmer becomes AD he then will be the defacto head coach. Yea, he'll hire someone, but he'll always have his hands in the football program. Very much like Frank Broyles at Arkansas.

After his handling of Schiano, how could anyone trust Currie? He didn't need Fulmer to sabotage. He did this to himself.

So Fulmer Sabotaged Currie to be the AD?

or

Did Currie Sabotage the University by trying to hire Greg Schiano and finally get what he deserved?

This "sabotage" accusation is very likely a leak from the Currie camp. Everyone has a side. No matter the truth, I am sure it feels like sabotage to Currie.

The difference between being called a patriot or a rebel is simply point of view.

While I don't believe for one second the Fulmer was sabotaging this coaching search, if the reports are true that he was the one on the ground while trying to hire Doeren we might as well prepare to be underwhelmed. Best case scenario we hire Blackburn and he goes after Lane Kiffin.

But let's be honest, until the Haslam's are out we'll remain the Cleveland Browns of NCAAF. Happy Friday, fellow Vols. Let's all have a stiff drink tonight to prepare for the s***show coming next week.

Bring back Doug Dickey. Dust him off, prop him up and let's get this thing back on track!

Currie had his marching orders from Haslam on the Schiano deal. He should've told Haslam, "you want him, you go hire him." I think it was doomed from the start. You are correct though.

If this is true, it means that Fulmer has a sure thing hire. A hire that would make Fulmer seem like a genius.

I guess we'll see.

Phil Fulmer believes he's entitled at UT. That he was entitled to a lifetime coaching contract. That he was entitled to a cushy spot in the administration. Now entitled to be the AD. He was a good coach who went downhill and became a disease to the program.

Well, things seemed to work out when he stabbed Majors in the back. Give the job to him. At least he's a Tennessee guy. If we lose with him, we go down with a Vol. Get them back to winning and everyone will forget, again.
