I just turned on the t.v. couldn't sleep and saw that great catch by smith on the two point conv, pretty impressive.

Bret did exactly what he did at UT tonight in the Hula Bowl made the 1st downs and caught passes in the endzone!!!!! Great JOB!!!!!!!!!! .....i think we'll see him play on Sundays next year!!!!!!!!!

It's not like Philip Rivers played the greatest game ever. Vincent Jackson had a pass right to him that he dropped, as well. It was a very crucial play, too.

Also, who caught the long pass that put the Chargers in position to kick the final field goal? Eric Parker. If you want to blame one guy, blame the idiot that got the personal foul for headbutting after the play had ended. Or blame the guy that picked off Brady's pass on fourth down and then fumbled it back to the Pats. Marty Schottenheimer didn't have a good gameplan and he didn't have his players taking the game seriously. There's plenty of reasons the Chargers lost.

It was also interesting watching Bret Smith getting the chance to run routes from the X and Y spots rather than setting up in the slot all the time like he was forced to do for us.
