If there's already a thread about this, sorry, I couldn't find it.

Is there an official word on his injury yet? Do we know if he'll be ready to go on Saturday?

The defensive backfield is thin with him. It's frightening how thin we are without him.

Brent still young and getting burned some, but he saved that game on the next to last play in regulation. Wish he had intercepted it, but it was a great play regardless.

Brent had a chance to end that game if he could've held on to that ball in the endzone.

Berry could have ended it previous to that. I just thought it was a good play by Vinson. Many a CB gets beat on that quick slant.

They are playing better. But they still have lapses. I'am having a hard time figuring out whether its coaching or just youth or both.

I was wondering the same thing. Also there were a few other guys that went down during the game that I was wondering about as well. Near the end of the game its seemed like we were dropping like bugs. Does anyone know overall how we are doing with injuries? I am so happy they pulled it out! Congrats!!! Lets go beat those Cajun Kitties!!!:clapping:

Gosh! i really hope Vinson is ok!
so when will the reports come out on whether his shoulder is ok??
and i hear Briscoe has ANOTHER concussion! thats terrible if he does.. That can lead to serious problems, especially for his future..
and How is X-Man doing.. he got all bumped up again.. and i hope he's doing fine..

Xavier's injury seemed at first like he wouldn't even get up.. we need him and vinson badly. and we need to not be afraid to chuck the ball downfield a little, because they will be sitting there waiting on rogers and taylor's short stuff

(yes, i know, we've been talking about throwing the ball deep all year)

If i don't see a screen to G jones i'll be mad

He saved the game with that play. If the Ky receiver had caught that ball. BALLGAME!

Admission: I was dead wrong about the game not being close. I thought it would be a blow out one way or the other... felt like a prophet in the 1st half.

All those secondary guys just need some experience. Willingham either needs to be stronger or faster. He will probably move to Safety once Johnson is healthy next year unless Morley is back in orange.

It was Reynolds... man has that guy all of a sudden started to look like a player. Where was that for 3 3/4 years?

Willingham seems to be in position a lot, he just doesn't find the ball and make a play on it. He is a good tackler so maybe he would fit better at safety. The defensive backfield will be deep next year.

He stays fresh now that Ayers get significant playing time. Ayers is a beast. If Martin or someone steps up on other side we are going to have a more traditional UT D next year.
