Im not saying this is true, and for what it's worth I don't believe it. Just passing it along. Do what you want with this suspect info, haha.

On another note, I would rather have him over Ohio St's DC, if we're going the coordinator route for a HC.

And now you wanna continue by calling me a waterhead. I was pretty sure I got away from the name calling when I graduated high school over 20 years ago. Don't sweat it, there are a certain number of posters on this site who really don't care that much about taking your original thread and making comments or contribution to the conversation.

They like to sit and snipe--point out your 'errors' or how stupid your post is.

It makes them feel intelligent and contributes a little to their self esteem (which they badly need).

Personally, I appreciate you passing along what you heard--accurate or not.

If the top options say no and they go the coordinator route, I would be fine with Venables. I’ve seen him listed as the #1 defense coordinator in the country on some sites.

Take all day every day. Would have been a take prior to this whole fiasco IMO...if we went the coordinator route.

Honest question- who is worth big bucks? Mullen got 6 mil. Who is in that price range or higher? I'd say Petersen, but can't think of another name.
