Brent Hubbs has been told that Monte will join Lane's staff.

Those who are worried about Monte's role in recruiting should think about this, He is a well known name in the sport of football, He would not even have to work hard to get recruits to come to UT...His name alone would bring them here, I mean if your a defensive player in high school and You have a once in a lifetime chance to learn under a legend like Monte Kiffin, Are You going to say no?....HELL NO!...The man knows what it takes to get to the NFL and that's every kids dream.

Worry not about Monte recruiting. I can 100% guarantee that Monte is coming as the DC and -- to calm the recruiting fears -- Orgeron will be the D-line coach and recruiting coordinator. This means O will hit the pavement and Monte will simply come in and close on the big boys. Monte's name will carry the weight.

How can anyone be 100% sure about anything? So if this isn't true, I get to punch you in the balls. Cool with you?

Look, every parent wants their kid to be successful. When the owner of the team your son coached calls a presser for the sole purpose of trashing him as a person and as a professional, I have to think you take that sort of thing personally. If Monte has an opportunity to help Lane PROVE that he can be a success, he will take it. Jmo.
I think he will come to get the opportunity to coach WITH his son, bee closer and spend more time with his grand kids. As for making Lane a success to piss Al Davis off? I think Mike Shannahan and Jon Gruden have already proved what most football people already know. That Al Davis is a catatonic old fart.
