This makes no sense . Hiring sciano and doerean was ok but Leach is a fireable offense . Maybe everyone is yelling at the wrong guy . Maybe fulmer or Peyton should be fired from the search

Currie is a Lame Duck AD. No coach is gonna come to this Wild Fire (Dumpster Fire is contained) of a coaching search. If he's not fired, his coaching search days are over.

Upon assuming the Chancellorship, Davenport stated that P5 experience was a prerequisite for Tennessee's next AD. So, we get Currie instead of Blackburn. Buck stops with the administration for this entire fiasco.

Can't anybody do ANYTHING right? This is so unbelievable. Even the local TV stations are incompetent ? Schiano is hired..no he's not..."Brohm will be named next head coach"...no he won't..."Leach working on deal with Vols"...WAIT...Currie's back in Knoxville and there is infighting among AD and boosters. HOLD ON..."Currie is fired"..WAIT...no he's not.... delete the tweet. WHAT NEXT?

I admit I want Currie gone and have no faith in his leadership, but Mike Leach is by far the best name we've seen thus far and with the exception of Gundy (who was never coming; this was his annual "try for a raise" by pretending to be interested in other jobs time), Leach is the only one we've heard that the vast majority of Vol Nation would be behind.

The only thing I can say is if the Currie coup is real and this means we're not hiring Leach, then we better go after Tee Martin. You can't pull this coup right now and not have Tee lined up.

Since he's a Lame Duck AD with no power someone else will head the search (with Fulmer's influence likely). We'll be looking for an AD as well as a coach now.
