Breaking...The Tennessean hates us

Yep, I waited my approval process just like the next guy. Don't let the lack of posts fool ya, I know exactly who I am dealing with. You see, a wise man understands the battlefield before he steps foot on it. Swing that stick if you feel so compelled, but understand in the battle of mental merit, you should hope I turn and walk away on my own accord before I truly get warmed up.

This is really weird... Your original post where you insinuated anyone who doesn't believe your view of politics has a "mental disorder" and now you are butt hurt people are taking you to task over it?

Melungeon man reappears.

Why go to court and be proven wrong when you can call a couple of your buddies up at the local news paper and crucify your target in the media? The PR gets so bad for the target that they settle just to make it go away. That is why I wanted everyone to know the background on all parties involved.

Pick a target, freeze it, polarize it, get what you want. Its a tactic straight out Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.
His buddies at the paper are probably his yoga students also.

I can't testify to that but they are 100% in the same political party as he is. I'd be willing to bet that some video exists of all of them at a party function somewhere to prove their relationship further.

Wouldn't it be nice to have someone reporting on the attorney and reporters for a change? Following them around with cameras and reporting on the back room deals they may have made in an attempt to smear UT. How many times these reporters may have helped this particular attorney smear his opponents in the media to get a settlement on his case. Wonder if they ever got any compensation?

Inquiring minds want to know.

That headline would be awesome:
Nashville attorney and Vandy alum loses license and 3 Tennessean reporters fired for Quid Pro Quo.

After further review I do believe these folks have an agenda.

A newspaper didn't reaffirm exactly what I want to be true, waaaaahhhhhhh :rtfm:

Everyone tossing insults at "conservatives" and "liberals" - you all look like morons. For f***s sake, this is a sports forum. Go yell at "libtards" and "repukes" somewhere else.

I wasn't aware anyone still did subscribe. I haven't had a subscription in 16 years, and I've read one about 3 times in the past 5 years.

Only got it for sports, coupons & obituaries. Family subscription all my life, & I'm retired. Paper sucks & I am FREE! :dance2:

It is all making since now. The OP pointed out that the lawyer and the Tennessean reporters all are democrats and hate the second amendment. Then I just read opinion comments on a Washington Post article by UT fans that blame the lawsuit on Obama. This is all a conspiracy to keep UT from winning the east and Ted Cruz from winning the presidency. If we all pray hard enough it should go away.

Don't click on any article from the Tennessean. It wastes your time and gives them views/ad dollars. Don't help them.

Seem "ironic" to me that you have only 2 posts and they both seems more appropriate for a political website that a sports message board. Trump/Palin 2016

Maybe the irony is the inconsistency in using blatantly biased political hacks to cover something dealing with sports - something obviously outside their perception of "culture". And maybe it is more of the same when those same hacks fail repeatedly to mention that their "facts" are in reality allegations that would make a second rate mind in a third grade playground brawl proud. So if I may say so "Get your damn politics out of our sports; take the agenda and pander on elsewhere."

Probably a good idea to get your quotes properly attributed before slinging mud there Hos, but valiant attempt nonetheless. I wasn't the one who said anything of the sort about a mental disorder :birgits_giggle:

Since there is such a flap about mixing politics in a sports forum, then a different proposal. Next Nov don't hold anything back, run up the score and absolutely humiliate the Tennessean's favorite team. Let them both know just how much UT respects them - maybe with "This one is for the Tennessean" banners.

It is certainly important to know where your "news" comes from. The media is paid by selling papers, subscriptions, and clicks.

I always avoid clicking on any Tennessean article. Sadly even in the Tri-Cities the newspapers are disturbingly leftist. JC Press may as well change its name to Mother Jones Jr.

There are reasonable liberals (I'm friends with some) and there are libtards. Sadly, most of the people in the public media are libtards, and their influence is felt largely in my generation. (And yes there are conservatards too. Many of them will be voting for Trump soon.)
