Breaking...The Tennessean hates us

That is a good question. First because it is true and 2nd because all the cubs fans that I know have one thing in common. They would rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth. In their mind that is the only way that they can win the big game.

I'm certain it isn't true for all of them just an observation that I have made from personal experience.

Not sure if serious. If so...wow.

So when you started to "think for yourself", is that when you came up with the term "Libturd", cause that screams out thinker.

No, I borrowed that phrase because the words I would use would be more descriptive and much more vulgar.

This may be the most idiotic post/thread... . ... when he called Drae a triator ... .

Yet, neither Dem nor Rep should apply this word "triator" (sp) willy nilly --

Per excerpt below, it appears this word is the word chosen by the attorney's office (shown bold-ed for emphasis, below), not the word used in the personal account (the words of the player, as represented by quotes) --

194. After this assault by Maggitt, on Sunday, Bowles called Coach Jones to relate what had happened. Coach Jones stated to Bowles he was very disappointed in Bowles and that he had “betrayed the team.” Bowles became extremely upset, broke down and cried.

195. Several hours after this phone call Jones called Bowles and apologized for calling Bowles a traitor to the team.

Is this where this word started, by the word planted by the attorney, or did the player use this word?

Once can wonder, why the attorney didn't simply type something like this (in Point 195): Several hours (afterwards), the coach called the player and apologized for saying player had betrayed the team.

My lord how hilarious is this; the guy that built a strawman to tear down and even admits he did tells me not to use a strawman....that I didn't even do.

He asked you not to blanket bash liberals, and you proceed with:

Pray tell who are you claiming "they" are in this example? Pray tell how you're not making a blanket judgement on "they" and pray tell how it's not negative.

As far as the English "lesson", I hate to break it to you, but just because something seems "ironic" to you doesn't mean it actually is or that you're using the word correctly.
Describing how a group of people react towards another group of people is not "bashing." Perhaps you have just been over-sensitized and thus, can not handle an honest assessment of a situation (which is precisely what was given, not an attack).
Back to your lesson. Being that "irony" and its usage is VERY subjective in nature, I did in fact use it correctly. I know this because I do this for a profession. Being someone who wishes to project themselves as of superior intelligence, I would expect you to understand such subjectivity.

Thanks for letting all of the members on here know that you are the most intelligent poster on the board.
I'd say thanks, but that's akin to being the fastest runner (or best bowler for those keeping score) at the Special Olympics. In any case, I'll wear the crown well good sir, sarcasm be darned :)

Since everyone on this board has been freaking out about articles in the Tennessean portraying our great university in a negative light I thought I might be able to shed some light about the people that are writing the stories, their backgrounds, political views, etc.. as well as the attorney that is suing the university. I believe you will find this interesting to say the least.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. That is all I have to say about that. As opposed to freaking out about what the Tennessean says considering the sources of all this "news" and the source of the Lawsuit I think I will wait for the FACTS to come out because the sources sure as hell aren't very credible in my opinion. This bunch looks like they planned all this out to Smear UT at their weekly community organizing meeting.

Spring practice starts in 2 weeks. Go Vols!!

So, from this post I'm supposed to be suspicious of anybody with more than one tooth in their head or takes more than one bath a week? No, thanks.

Check out his website and notice how many cases he has "settled". And he's a yoga teacher...nice.

Why go to court and be proven wrong when you can call a couple of your buddies up at the local news paper and crucify your target in the media? The PR gets so bad for the target that they settle just to make it go away. That is why I wanted everyone to know the background on all parties involved.

Pick a target, freeze it, polarize it, get what you want. Its a tactic straight out Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.

Your last post took a shot at special Olympics athletes. Do you really want to judge someone else right now?
And if you caught the bowling reference, you'd understand it was a shot at the President and NOT a shot at the Special Olympics. I applaud your attempt at a drive by though, here's your participation ribbon and juice box.

Deflect away. A real conservative man would own his words

You should probably just log out and forget you ever found this site. It will help all parties involved

Nah, unfortunately for you, I don't cower in the face of opposition nor allow others to define for me what I am. I am here for the long haul so make room for me, party of one. I've been properly vetted by the powers that be as well so no risk of deportation. Sorry if this ruins your evening.

This doesn't sound like someone who encourages civil discourse. This sounds like a tyrant who wants to suppress all ideas contrary to theirs. Go home, leave, we don't want your kind here...Golly gee, that sounds an awful lot like how liberals try to brand conservatives. Imagine that, a liberal being a hypocrite.

As a moderator, you have the ability to ban me, no?

I know where the button is. Something tells me you're well aware of that fact already

However if you've truly "been properly vetted by the powers that be" then you have nothing to fear right? That was a pretty bold claim so I assume you wouldn't be fibbing

Are you trying to be as hypocritical as possible, or do you just have some serious projection issues? First the strawman crap, now you say I am the one who is over-sensitized....which is coming from the guy who had this overreaction to a post that in no way should have produced said reaction:

I find it ironic that you use "uncultured" as an attack towards conservatives yet, whenever conservatives attempt to demonstrate culture, they are labeled racists/bigots/xenophobes/homophobes/sexists and then civilly sued for the next handful of years. Seems to me from my seat that being "cultured" is very taboo anymore, no?

You're making this too easy.

Yep, I waited my approval process just like the next guy. Don't let the lack of posts fool ya, I know exactly who I am dealing with. You see, a wise man understands the battlefield before he steps foot on it. Swing that stick if you feel so compelled, but understand in the battle of mental merit, you should hope I turn and walk away on my own accord before I truly get warmed up.
