Since everyone on this board has been freaking out about articles in the Tennessean portraying our great university in a negative light I thought I might be able to shed some light about the people that are writing the stories, their backgrounds, political views, etc.. as well as the attorney that is suing the university. I believe you will find this interesting to say the least.

All information contained below can be verified using google, twitter, Facebook, and linked in among other sources.

-Nate Rau

- (most likely did not graduate college according to his bio on the Tennesseean)
-past reporting specialty was politics
-Democrat, supported Mary Mancini, Hillary Clinton, --Likes Beyonce, retweets Arianna Huffington of the Huffington post:

Liberalism is a mental disorder. That is all I have to say about that. As opposed to freaking out about what the Tennessean says considering the sources of all this "news" and the source of the Lawsuit I think I will wait for the FACTS to come out because the sources sure as hell aren't very credible in my opinion. This bunch looks like they planned all this out to Smear UT at their weekly community organizing meeting.

Spring practice starts in 2 weeks. Go Vols!!

It is certainly important to know where your "news" comes from. The media is paid by selling papers, subscriptions, and clicks.

I appreciate the specifics, well done. But i literally couldve told you exactly who the people writing/promoting the stories at Pravda are without knowing their names. If you left the names off and just wrote the "demographics" you just outlined, you could describe approximately 99.7% of every media outlet/newspaper in the country.

I have no idea why being a democrat has anything to do with this.

Stop with this political partisanship. There are many democrats LIKE ME that support the University of Tennessee and won't make any rash judgments about the players or coaches based on mere accusations.

Has the Tennessean pointed out the contradictions in the Title IX sworn affidavit from Bowles's 2015 grand jury testimony? Of course not. That would show balance and some journalistic integrity.

They could care less about being fair and balanced. Pure trash is what some of them are. Reporters of lies and twist and anything to sell the paper and get subscribers.

It really has nothing to do with selling papers since print media is going in the toilet. They have an agenda to push, and anything that doesn't fit the narrative goes in the garbage.

I hate the Tennessean, Someone ask Freak to please take it off the "FREE" Vols News Tab. It is no longer "FREE". They get our clicks for free and I can not even read their worthless articles anymore if I wanted to. Edited: Well I could if I wanted to pay, but that isn't going to happen.....Just saying

It's highly associated. Although idk, it's just a mindset some people have to take the side of "victims" w/ everything.

Most of these liberal nutcases align themselves with the democrats, D4H. I get there are a few reasonable, well meaning folks among the democrats, but most of the expose journalists vote democrat.

However, if anyone says a whole lot of the talking heads in the GOP are not idiots, they need a reality check. They have their share as well. Personally, I would like to line them up and drop kick them until my foot falls off.

There is a huge difference between a classic Liberal and modern day Progressives, just like there is a huge difference between Conservatives and Far Right Theocrats

I don't have any use for SJWs on my side anymore than most Conservatives have for the Religious Right or White Power movement

My Niece is about to go there in 5 months. If they're right I commend them for exposing the nonsense to protect her and those now on my Alma Maters campus. If not then I will condemn them seriously for their tactics. Just like those giving the benefit of the doubt to those in trouble I will give the same to them and the reporters.

We shall see..

So tired of these 'true believers' coming to Vol Nation and elsewhere with their political garbage. There's ultra biased nuts on both sides that think the other is destroying Amurika. Now, back to the topics at hand please.
