BREAKING: Syracuse investigating report that Asst coach Molested former ball boy

If there's a huge coverup and conspiracy to protect the assistant, you can bet your ass that's what will happen. You need to try grabbing a clue.

If he knew about it, absolutely. But please, by all means, bring your philosophical genius into this thread as well.

Boeheim knows everything that goes on at Syracuse; Fine has been on his staff for thirty-five years; molestation was reported in 2004, was not investigated because of "statue of limitation" according to the article, and Boeheim still kept Fine on his staff.

Fire him.

Davis said that Fine molested him at Fine's home, at the basketball facilities at Syracuse, on recruiting road trips and even at the 1987 Final Four. Davis said he was Fine's constant companion at all those places. He said that Boeheim would come into Fine's room, and see Davis lying on the Fine's bed, but never asked him any questions.

Like I said, fire Boeheim immediately. No reason to even conduct an investigation or give him due process.

If we figure out that Boeheim knew of the allegation and did nothing, he should be fired. Also, it doesn't take a genius to see that you're trying to be a smartass acting as if Paterno shouldn't have been fired. We all get your schtick; not one person agrees with it.

What about Boeheim saw Fine laying with the kid is making you hesitate right now?

Again, your attempts to somehow compare this to Penn State are failing horribly. You've yet to make a point.

OTL investigated the story in 2003; do you think Boeheim was not aware of the allegations? Of course they were not corroborated, but that means absolutely nothing. Fine should have been off the staff, away from the facilities, on administrative leave, and Boeheim should have assured that an investigation was being conducted and he should have continually followed up on said investigation.

That's what this guy says happened. With Penn State, we have Paterno's own admission of knowing about an eyewitness report for over a decade and doing nothing. We also don't have the accused admitting they showered naked and wrestled and touched the boys, which of course you find nothing wrong with.

Also, maybe you should begin gazing out your window asking yourself if this indeed did happen if the 11 year old boy consented to being molested. Because if he did, this guy did nothing wrong, right?

No; over the past couple of days you have effectively persuaded me not to wait for facts, to believe wholeheartedly in non-corroborated testimony, and never to worry about consent.

I'm just going to end this debate with you. You know and I know that it's not even close, based on what we currently know, to the Penn State situation. You're shockingly, once again, trying to somehow attack everyone that was in favor of going after the Penn State administration for being a hypocrite. However, it's not close to comparable. So, you really just look like a dumbass at this point.

When have I ever said one should accept non-corroborated testimony?

So, you automatically believe McQueary's story and that he told Paterno with directness and certainty that something happened, of which Paterno failed because he only reported it to his superior; yet, you do not believe the alleged victim's story here that Boeheim would see him in Fine's bed and did nothing about it?

You are inconsistent

You are an inconsistent jackass.

First, I do believe McQreary, but I have maintained the entire time that Penn State's failure to conduct any investigation into these allegations is what caused everyone to be fired, and that firing was more than warranted. Now, to corroborate McQreary's story, we have about 20 other victims testifying that they've been raped, molested, fondled, etc. by the same man. We also have Joe Paterno's own admission that he was immediately told of what happened by McQreary, and JOe Paterno's own admission that he only told the AD, who has now been indicted. The coverup that allowed no investigation of explosive allegations is what should cause all of these people to be indicted, and it appears there is currently more than enough evidence to convict Sandusky on multiple counts of child rape.

So, I think somehow, there's a little more to go on in this case than 1 victim alleging that he was molested. If more comes out, I'll act the exact same way as I did with Penn State.
