Tennessee doesnt have too much of a threat to crank out September except for Georgia and Florida.

Florida: I know you are not supposed to pass judgement after the first week but when it's time to get real, it's time to get real. Florida is a lot thinner on depth than what they were, they don't have the weapons like they did, and I really think they were playing their hearts out against a Bowling Green team they could have destroyed. I just don't believe they are ready for this year to live up to any high standards.

Georgia: I know, they played Buffalo, and they didn't win convincingly. I know they were missing players, but there's just no excuse. You were ranked number 6 going in and played like a barely top 25 team. I believe they have just set up for another year of disappointment with all the national title talk just like in previous years, they will lose to Mizzouri this weekend and my point will be proven. They are sluggish and very overrated.

Tennessee beats Florida by at least 2 touchdowns and I think Tennessee destroys Georgia and expose them for all their worth.

I notice how you didn't include Akron in this preview. They are the real team we need to look out for in September.

Long as we're winning, enjoy each week. There is truth in the coach speak------One game at a time. Relax. Thinking about upcoming opponents just raises the stress level. I don't think much about the next game until the last one is in the books. Anything can happen; a team can lose players for varied reasons---2-3 weeks down the road; which makes the discussion moot. It is a short season. Savor it---and be happy that maybe this year we will have a season to savor.

By A team losing players--I meant any team---ie who we play.

(1) Regardless of how poorly coached or how poorly Florida plays, we will NOT beat them.
In order for us to beat them, we have to play a PERFECT game and Florida must play their worse game of the season.
They are soooo talented that they can play poorly and still beat us.
Each time we find ourselves ahead in the Florida game, we look at the scoreboard and then doudt sets in.
Florida will be in a 3rd and 23 situation, but a receiver will slip behind our defense and they will get the necessary 24 yards for the first down.
Or a mere field goal will win the game for us, but our special teams will mess up and we will lose.
History repeats itself!!!!!!!!

(2) We can always beat UGA, IF we have a healthy team. The only times we have lost to UGA is when we have had injuries.
We beat UGA this year, provided we don't have any injuries.

Tennessee loses to Florida by less than 7 points. Tennessee beats UGA in a thriller.....

This years Florida team is anything but "soooo talented", You put way too much stock in the past... ESP with UF. 5-0 in September for Tennessee. VFL

When healthy, and not suspended, Florida and Georgia have a TON of talent on defense. Uga has some guys on offense too, they can really run the ball. Florida will struggle to be consistent and score all year on offense, but on any given day if the D comes to play they can win.

To overlook either of these teams is beyond foolish. I firmly believe we should beat Florida, but if they come into Neyland and get a lucky bounce or two and squeak out a win I wouldnt be overly shocked either.

Georgia is a bit of a mystery. They seem to have the guys to be elite, but they also seem to not show up too often. I think it's a stretch to expect a W in athens, but it certainly isn't implausible.

We should go into the Georgia game 4-0, I think that we can beat them but we need to play a very discipline game. IMO

The good thing about Florida this week is they can't hide anything IF they actually did against BGSU. That's what i missed about playing them late in the year because we knew what they were about.

Muschamp is insane and Richt is over rated. We have a shot at both but we absolutely have to play them near perfect to win.

We don’t need to chalk this one up in the win column a rivalry is and rivalry. Teams tend to play above their level during rivalry games. We just need to do what we do best and keep their O off the field.

The over-confidence on this board is whack! We beat one ACC team. Have y'all already forgotten...back to back losing season? I haven't. It's been a long 5 or so years. I'm definitely taking this team one game at a time. We're not gonna just walk through the schedule like many of you think.

If we are good enough to "destroy" UGA on the road we will beat UF by 30.

I don't see either happening.

UF has a very solid D - I think we win, but not by 2 TDs. I'm thinking 20-13 Vols. Also, UGA will fix their problems on D and they will be fine. By the way, I think they win huge at Mizzou.

UGA will beat up Mizzou. They will dominate up front, and some suspended guys will be back. Richt knows he can't lose to Mizzou if he even wants to sniff the hype this season.
