Or...You don't have to break the bank. You go offer Mike Leach, who beat both Stanford and USC this year. He's in Pullman Washington, arguably the worst job in that conference. He's beating teams that are top 25 in recruiting with 2 and 3 star players. WSU's Stadium seats 33,000 folks.

Has he won a national championship, no.

But I would challenge folks to go on youtube and watch his teams play and imagine what the likes of Alvin Kamara, John Kelly, some of our current WR's would look like in his offense.

It would be lethal.


Oh...and he can develop the QB position like nobody's business. Something that has been lacking during the CBJ era.

The dude is king of the Bay Area. The weather is fantastic, the ocean is a stone's throw away, he gets ALL of the players with good grades, and he doesn't have to worry a whole lot about being a black guy in a nice car driving in a nice neighborhood.

What do you mean by that remark? I live in Alabama in a nice intergraded middle class neighborhood and no one even notices if a person of color (AA, Asian or Hispanic) drives by in a BMW. Typical steriotyping by some left wing liberal living in California.

Maybe, just maybe, Shaw might be tired of paying 60% of his income in taxes in that tax hellhole state. I read recently that upper income people are fleeing in droves to states like Texas and Tennesse.

The Pacific Ocean off the California Coast comes down from the Arctic so yes it is cold (that’s why I wore a wet suit when surfing) The beaches we are used to on the east coast are warmer by far

That said, I’d be happy with Shaw,Leach, or Peterson. Not that our AD knows who any of these guys are. Their games come on after his bedtime

Other schools, UCLA, Florida, Ole Miss etc...manage to hire coaches without burning down the school's reputation on a national stage.
