he overthrew Hunter going rt to left in the middle of the field, but I'm not sure if there was a communication issue with JH "sitting down" or bray may have thought he was heading up field, and he overthrew JH on the near the goalline with an out pattern.
My only complaint with Bray was his overthrows Friday. Watching him, I saw the problem I believe. If you watch his overthrows, he gets too low on his throws when he has time. Bray has such a cannon, and when he uses his legs to power up, it can lead to overthrows. If you notice when he is pressured, the touch is better and he's more upright.
I don't think it's a big deal, but I believe it kind of answers why he can overthrow his receiver bad.
Was going to watch the replay tonight. Just curious, which ones stood out the most because I would like to watch it because usually a few times in a game last year Bray would get that gunslinger mentality and try for too much, but off the top of my head don't remember that much Friday. Bray and Hunter had several miscommunications where Bray would read the safety and expect Hunter to be there when Hunter went the opposite way. I am usually good at containing emotions of the game and remembering the throws and details, but I was too giddy Friday night to remember much of anything.
Then start a thread on what he did he good eh? He did a lot more good than bad.
I'm just ribbing you.
And it was nowhere near his best game imo
I wasn't talking about throw aways. I know the difference. And he missed a couple guys on overthrows. I was simply suggesting that the overthrows were caused by him getting too low and using too much leg power to go with his arm strenght.
You guys are seriously overreacting to this.
