SIAP but what exactly is the sickness referred to by CDD that hampered Bray today?

so far i can't find any details.

Well we do have two other QB's and if KY can whip out a 4th stringer and beat us then why not at least put our 2nd and 3rd in. Outcoached and outplayed...pure and simple.

Why should it matter, Kentucky did not have a quarterback for four quarters and still ran over us.

Would have thought simms or worley would have been sufficient for KY, even a sick bray should have been enough.

They weren't certain he was going to play as of last night. In hindsight, probably shouldn't have started him.

Bob said he had battled flu like symptoms all week during the pregame show. They also played a clip of Dooley during the pregame where he said Bray had 101 fever Monday and Tueaday.

It's still not an excuse for losing this game.

I posted this in another thread but really think that Worley should have started the 2nd half. TB clearly was not himself today. Coach Dooley should have recognized this. But it is what it is. Coach Dooley could have put Worley in, but the negavols would be *****ing louder if we would still have lost. One thing I do have to say is the UK's defense played lights out today, just like they did last week against GA.

well, strep can be a mutha

but

it is up to the coaching staff to determine who is best suited to start at QB, and today it sure didn't look like TB was it.

UT should easily beat this KY team even with simms or worley at QB.

I know there are many to choose from , but I want to know why Zach Rogers and Michael Palardy start for us. ZR drops 5 passes for each 1 he holds onto and his blocking is not special. As for MP, I cringe every time I see him on the field. Todays FG attempt was exactly what I expected. I knew he wouldnt make it, the only suspense is whether it will be blocked ( most of them could be blocked by a midget on his knees) or careen wildly nowhere near the goal posts, possibly KOing a cheerleader on the 20 yard line. I have absolutely no confidence in this former Rivals "top kicker" in AMERICA. IF it isnt the shoes - it must be the lack of coaching. Do these guys practice during the week?

Looks like we owe that dude that posted the "Bray out of next Saturday" thread a week ago an apology. He was pretty close.

That being said, if he is so sick, then sit his butt down, he's too sick to play. Why jeopardize the team?

We saw a ridiculous offensive performance today....I think Bray is a great QB, but he wasn't today. Worse, however, is our running game. That is how you beat UK...that is how almost everyone has beat UK...ridiculous 200+ yard games on the ground...yet we couldn't run on them.
