Bray's big start

I love how every Tyler Bray thread turns into snide comments about him and Dooley instead of how damn good of a QB he is that he was retained by one of the most respected offensive minds in the NFL for three years despite multiple injuries.

He would start for about 10 NFL teams currently in different situations.

Why can't he start for the one he's on?

I wish him well, but he was a complete jerk here. You shouldn't need a Al Wilson-type in the locker room or a competent head coach to know that throwing games and throwing beer bottles at cars isn't the right thing to do. People act like having Dooley as a coach gave everyone of that era a free jackass pass.

fwiw looks like Bray played well enough to make the team - Murray threw 2 picks - Hogan only had 6 passes and 1 comp.

He wasn't that bad..at least he wasn't hitting his girlfriend with said beer bottles. People make mistakes.

You're right....but having a "Al Wilson-type in the locker room or a competent head coach" doesn't mean he wouldn't of made the mistake of launching beer bottles of his balcony in the first place. Obviously throwing games is terrible...but there is no proof that that really happened.

Who does exactly?

Point is, he won us a lot of games, he made mistakes like you and me both have in life and now he is trying to become a successful professional football player. I hope he does well and represents UT well.
