I haven't seen a thread posted about this, but my prayers are answered. Tyler Bray will be in Knoxville this week for bowl practice. Not that Stephens can't be the starter next year, but this makes it a healthier competition. May the best man win.

Note - this was reported on volquest, but I didn't attach the article because I don't have an account with them. If somebody can post it, please do.

Yeah, I heard he will be here and will be able to get in 6 practices (I believe). He will not be able to travel and practice with the team, but he can still get started on campus.


Is next year here yet? Actually, 2011 is the one I can't wait for.

That's great. Even 1 practice is big. Adjusting to college can be a lot to take in. He gets in a few practices with no school to worry about, then he goes to school with no practice to worry about. By the time he's combined the two he already has a handle on both.

Looking forward to watching this young man play for the next 4 years. I think he ends up being considered to be among the best and compared similarly to peyton and tee. Personally I hope he walks away from here with every passing record that statics are kept for.....:good!:

Note if you have not seen it there is a video on yahoo sports. It has a video clip of Bray. The young man has a canon well more of a Dan marino type release. Also great vision just needs bout 20lbs and there you have it our future.

This is great, but wait until a poster finds out that the new kickers on campus.. the board will erupt.

That is for sure, we lost 3 games because of no confidence in the kicking game. (when I say kicking gme that means kick-off also)

i believe you are mistaken on this.if memory serves me correctly,Jason Allen and Brisco are just a couple that i can come up with,practiced with the team at the bowl site.the were eaqrly entries.:)

The rule has changed. They can practice on campus with the team during bowl preparation, but may not practice at the bowl site.

Ok, Bray either isnt tryin very hard, or has terribly slow feet. Either way he has a great arm and accuracy seems to be on spot. CLK will groom him well.

It will be tough for anyone to fill Manning's shoes. Maybe if we still had Cutty coaching the QB's...
