I promise that when the coaches are ready for him to play he will have added weight. It will seem like he added 20 lbs. in a month. There is more to strength and conditioning than lifting weights. They are probably more worried about him staying in shape and learning the playbook at this point and time.

P&J sandwhich before bed and a protein shake. Every night. When I was a younger man, in college, no kids, had a life besides holding my wife's purse at the mall on the weekends, I used to run a "night club" and it helps to be kinda beefy in that type of environment. Anyways, I went from about 150 to 210, I'm 5'10 in about a year at still about 10% body fat. Make sure you load up on protein shakes and do low reps when working out to build up the red muscle (bulk muscle) instead of white muscle (high reps). Just a warning though, when your metabolism starts to slow down if you don't maintain the muscle it will turn to fat. Now I'm naturally bulky and have to do cardio just to not gain weight. Getting old sucks.

sorry to tell you, but that just doesn't happen!!!

My best friend in high school graduated at 6'11" 195 lbs.. He went to play D1 ball and came back at spring break weighing 225lbs.. When I first saw him I couldnt tell he had gained that much weight. You cant always tell just by walking by. Just throwin that out there.

Peyton weighed less than Bray does now. Tyler has plenty of people helping him with his nutrition and lifting.

I saw him at the RTL the other night and thought he looked a little bigger than what he was at O&W game. Not a lot but it was noticeable. Then again, I didn't get close enough to really tell his size and what not at the O&W game. If I'm not mistaking he was there with the Reveiz(sp) and their Dad?

Don't forget Tony Robinson was very skinny and he played a pretty good game of football and had a rifle arm. As a matter of fact his nickname was "Rifleman".

Ainge was 6-6, 200lbs his freshman year. Not sure what Peyton was, but he was pretty skinny. I imagine he weighed more than Bray, but I remember him looking pretty thin in his early years at UT.

I thought that was Chuck, Connors or Person.

You're screwed if the world descends into a zombiepocalypse.

Aren't we all? Except for the zombies, of course.

I'm just surprised they are allowing Bray to wear #8. I figured it would be retired after the 4 game stretch Cromp daddy went on to end the season. Just saying!

Ainge was undersized when he stepped on campus. Frail and injury proneness worry me a bit, esp. with our O-line. Luckily we seem to have a bit of a log jam with guys of equivalent talent at QB. We may end up finding our guy through sheer attrition.
