Bray Talks To The Media After Spring Game

I couldn't find anything but this. It's not much either , but he gives his thoughts on the game. Doesn't look too thrilled as he shouldn't. I haven't seen the game and I also won't judge him on it. He is the best option we have right now and throwing him under the bus over this is stupid. He needed this in my opinion. He needed to find out that he has to work harder. To his credit , he is right about playing with the 2's and 3's and making that work. Still he makes no excuses. Seems to take the blame. I'm sure Coach Dooley told him it's just a spring game as he did in his presser. Bray seems to care. Atleast he looks like it bothers him. When he stops acting that way , I will worry. I think a few here have overreacted. I have seen several spring games so far and alot of teams look piss poor.

Here is the video. About 1:30 into the video Bray talks. Volunteertv does the worst job with the videos. It's like they cut the interview before it ever gets going. But it's better than nothing.

White team shuts down Bray, wins Orange and White game, 24-7

His spring game performance may be the best scenario for him down the road. I hope he spends the summer and fall working hard to make sure he doesn't have a game like that when it counts.

I think the spring game was more about Malik Jackson emerging as team leader.
He purposely chose Simms as his Qb to get the message to our young stud QB to be ready to face constant pressure and harrassment in the third game of September.
I was encouraged that the majority of tackles were by the front 7 of Malik and company.
I would have been a lot more concerned if the OW game had been a repeat of the 2nd scrimmage.
Good learning lesson for Bray. Get ready son.

Malik did a great job drafting. He knew what the other teams first pick would be and bested them by building a great front on both sides. Brays offensive line looked horrible and that's because Malik focused on the trenches. Great strategy.

Who was it that always preached the game is won at the line of scrimmage? Malik must of heard that preaching lesson too :eek:k:

When Poole took Bray, Jackson automatically got Simms. That was part of the design of their draft.
