Bray suffers injury...

Talk about a guy who has worked his tail off to get in that position and then this happens. Godspeed to his recovery.

Hope he is able to get back on the field soon. I have to admit, I have been impressed that he has been able to stay on a NFL roster this long.... looks as though he has matured and grinding... good for him.

This isn't really a first.

After what happened in 2014 and 2015, he either has just the worst luck with injuries or durability might be becoming a concern with him.

Sorry to hear of these former players having setbacks...

happy to NOT read of any CURRENT players suffering the same.

I might be mistaken, but he's more or less been kept on IR and inactive lists the last two seasons.

The writing is on the wall for Bray. With Nick Foles in the fold and the Chiefs drafting Kevin Hogan, Bray and Aaron Murray need to put a good showing or else both will be auditioning elsewhere. They have 5 quarterbacks. Not good for Bray.

Could possibly be a blessing in dis guise for him. Could be put on the injured/reserve and avoid being cut or waived

Possibly, but it'd be like the 3rd year in a row (out of 4 seasons) that he'd have ended the preseason on some sort of injured reserved / not able to play list.

If Bray can't stay healthy for yet another year I don't see him being in the NFL any longer.

I read today that the injury is fairly minor and he should not be out of action for very long. That is a good thing as he really needs to play in the remaining exhibition games and show what he can do. He apparently wasn't great on Saturday, completing 3 of 9 passes in the first game, though I think he's had a pretty good camp and the coaches obviously like his size and arm. But he needs to show in exhibitions that he can play. With Foles signed as the backup by KC, either Murray or Bray is probably going to be released.

I hate to see any player injured. But Bray's arm is the only part superior to Dobbs. I still despise Bray's attitude toward the orange shirt, even if DD was mostly to blame.

Frankly I'm shocked he is still with a team, but I hope he can keep the dream alive, even though he acted like a tool here.
