Its funny he's thrown 4 pics in the last 2 games yet he's still played great ( 4 pics from a "game manager" type qb like simms would be devastating).... his big play ability makes up for so many of his "freshman" mistakes. I was rocking a UT shirt at the gym yesterday and complete strangers were coming up to me talking about how well Bray is playing.. Vol Ball is exciting again! ha

Tyler Bray is gonna be great in the future. He's shown alot of promise over the past 4-5 games. He makes throws beyond a freshman. If you notice, he checked off the covered WR's and then looked somewhere else in a heartbeat, unlike Simms who would've panicked and waited for that WR to get open and by then he'd get sacked and fumble the ball and UK would dance their way into the endzone. Don't care if Simms leaves or not, just as long as Bray continues to play well. Tell the truth, alot of players aren't too fond of Simms, especially Gerald Jones :bash:

If Mallett goes Pro, could Bray be the best SEC QB in 2011? I know the GA QB will likely be picked as first team all SEC. Who else looks better than Bray?

Hopefully Bray avoids the sophmore slump that somtimes happens and continues the improvment he is showing..not to be negative but somthing to worry about..

Mallett isn't even the best QB in the SEC, I'd give the nod to (s)Cam Newton.I'd say the best QB next year comes down to Bray and Murray

bamasucks76, like the helmet, not sure of the checkerboards on the shoulder pad. Always wanted to see an orange helmet with a white Power T.
GO BIG ORANGE!!

Nice compilation OP. If you could use a few more spaces between stats, or maybe an excel spreadsheet, that would be great. Oh yea, we're going to need you to work this saturday too, ok? Thaaanks.

I have not seen the kid from GA play much this year other than when they played us, so I don't have a real opinion of him yet. I can't wait to see these two young gun slingers go at it next year. Defense will be the key to that game. I think Mallet and Newton both go pro after this year so we may very well wind up with the 1st or 2nd best QB in the conference. Things are looking bright to be a TN VOL!!!!

Good thread, luvin' it.

Yup, it's all about Bray and that UGA homer. It comes down to them.

Btw, How many yards does Tyler need in the bowl game to break 2,000 yards?

:dance2:

It would be quite a feat for Bray to get 2000 yards this season. :loco:
