Bray Starting?

If we get drilled tomorrow and Simms sucks, I feel that Dooley should throw Bray in there the next week forward. I honestly feel that Simms is not gonna be the starter next year and might as well let Bray get some reps and be ready for next year

Thanks for the service....I have told Volnation that Simms is not an SEC QB and he showed that tonight like he he did last week. Unfortunately Volnation thought that bad JUCO QB was going to light up the SEC. But I'm the voice of reason and if Dooley is a good coach, Bray will be our starter by November. If Simms is still our starter by then then Dooley is imcompetent!......

I believe Simms made somewhat of a statement today. If he is able to keep getting better and not make so many stupid throws he may end up being pretty good. He threw with poise and power today. If he can get his accuracy better and start reading defenses he could actually be pretty good. Great coaching job by our staff today too in preparing him for another big game. They looked decent at times today. Especially Simms.

Has anyone read if/when Dooley may start Bray to see how he reacts to the pressure of SEC game time? I am in Afghanistan and don't get a lot of time to surf the net! Just curious...I have read a lot of good things about Bray! Not saying Simms is doing terrible, just wanna see where our other Freshman stands behind our offensive line! GO VOLS! :rock:

Simms might not be an All-SEC quarterback, but he's what we have. Stay behind him. If you think Bray is ready to start from anything you say in the UTM game or the O&W game, I might ask you the same thing: "what game were you watching?"

give simms some time, i know its hard to but keep in mind he is still new to this offense...once he gets some expirence under his belt and is coached up by chaney he should be doing well and be rolling into the 11 season.. remmeber crompton? give it some time kids...all will be ok. i still say we beat ole miss gerogia, kentucky, vandy, uab...maybe some more.. thats a bowl game wich is good with me for this year..

Simms sucks but Bray is not ready

He is really not close to ready. Our line cannot protect the passer and when under pressure Bray makes simms look like Tom Brady
