Bray skips interviews after game

What do any of the players ever say? I don't know why they go through the locker room interview routine. There never anything there.

I agree, They don't say "you know" every five seconds like Bobby Scott, and they need to watch "Bull Durham" and watch the scene where Kevin Costner teaches Tim Robbins about sports euphamisms.

oh if he declares next season and dont come back for his SR yr, i can almost guarantee you he will be like Ryan Leaf in 2 yrs out of the NFL and no job....i dont think Bray can develop into a NFL QB...im just not seeing it....

He will get as much play as Casey Clausen.... NONE!

This. Not sure about Peterman, but Worley has no arm. He literally throws like a girl. I say stick with Bray.

lets go ahead and say he sucks before he even gets a chance to show what he can do.you dont have to have a great arm to be a succesful qb,i would rather have a qb that can read a defense and knows how to play the game rather than a qb that can throw the ball 100 yards but doesnt know how to play the position.
Bray has had plenty of chances and look were we are at.

saw that on govolsxtra. inexcusable.
Don't blame him, either. However, if he starts laying an egg against USCjr, then I personally would like to see Peterson given a few drives under center. Sure it would burn his redshirt, but I think he is the future. Hate to pass Worley over, but Peterman seems to be the real deal. Would like to see him get some experience, while we see what he can do.

So by your logic... if he is indeed the "real deal", burn a whole year of eligibility just to see what he can do against lower quality opponents? At that point we will have already played FL, Bama, GA, and SC. I wouldn't want to burn a year of eligibility for Troy, Vandy, Ky, and Missouri.

No thanks. He needs to keep his RS this year.

Bray does an interview and gets dumped on for what he says.

Bray doesn't do an interview and gets dumped on for not saying anything.

Makes sense.

What was he going to say that you haven't already heard?

agree with you that he isnt going to get up there and give some speech that will calm volnation down, BUT it does show us that there is some kind of accountability.
Him getting up there says a little, him not going up there screams a lot.

He's not the stud we thought he would be. He doesn't have it mentally. I really wish they'd give Worley a shot against SC.

No excuse for not meeting with the media. If you can do it when we win you can when we lose. Yes he is not going to say anything we have not already heard but he needs to man up. This is his team and he needs to be a leader for once. He is unfortunately being no more different from our unloyal fans that are wearing the orange when we win but puts it in the back of the closet when they are not. You are either a Vol or your not. This is getting old and quick!

he could man up and admit he needs to work on his game and take the blame for his mistakes and bad play. but no he's just a kid it's ok. he doesn't need to improve just keep throwing the rock. peyton manning would admit he messed up and would fix it.

x1000

this team needs a leader and clearly Bray needs to grow up still

I don't really care and I'm not surprised at all.

The young man got embarrassed and would have probably said something he shouldn't have.

Fits

Immature punk

No leadership

Million dollar arm, nickel brain

Funny how people are all over Bray this year but last year people including myself said some of the same things and were bashed for doing so. My how times have changed.

Bray might deserve more credit for field vision and personal maturity than fans are giving him. Did Bray chuck a pass at Dooley when he was up in the press box at the MSU game? No. Did Bray take out one of Dooley's crutches during the bammer game? No.

Bray clearly doesn't do enough homework to check off at the line or to check down during plays, but this freaking thread is absurd.

He was frustrated and didn't want to say anything wrong. No one on here knows what is going on with this team. It's not Tyler he wants to win more than anyone. He studies film relentlessly and he won the most valuable player award for offseason workouts. It's hard to win when coaches have already. Hecked out. We went from throwing over 40 times a game to 20 times and that makes it hard to get in a groove. Plus there play call and formations have a 98% probability of a certain play. That is why the other team always knows where the play is going. He first get to check they call it and when they do look at the line and lbs shift. Yes he needs to make better throws but they also need to run the right routes which doesn't happen about 30% of the time. You all are quick to judge after being quick to anoint. And you wonder why you players get frustrated. If you want to make a difference be supportive or strap on a helmet and play. I will meet anyone to discuss. Pm me
