I honestly think he couldn't have done worse than Simms.

Hell, Nash Nance would have been an upgrade.

When it becomes evident we are playing for next year, Bray needs to go in. Might be as soon as the LSU game.

I agree after that last Oregon td Bray should have come in. He needs the xperience.

Simms needs the experience a lot more the Bray.

Look at what happened last year. Crompton blew the first few weeks, then wound up being one of the best QBs in the nation in the final stretch.

Simms is absolutely HORRIBLE... nothing he does is D1 much less SEC. He is just aweful...what other words can I use here...he lost this game for us....if he keeps playing like this we loose this young team....step up CDD lets go with Bray we will be behind ya...:hi:

Why? Simms needs as much work as possible. He's out QB. Get over it. Bray will not be our QB this year unless Simms gets hurt. Simms had a bad game. EVERY UT QB, include PM, has thrown a pick 6. It happens. He will learn from his mistakes.

Despite what everyone says, I DON'T THINK FLORIDA IS AS GOOD AS OREGON. I think UF has a lot of work before hit before t is considered an elite program. We have a much better chance against UF than ORE if CDD can get us back on track mentally. It will be a tough week of practice.

At least people are finally publicly admitting what I've been saying about Simms since he signed.

He isn't an FBS-level QB.

I think the coaches are aware that this season is an uphill battle. This loss is tough because we saw a great first half only to see our issues exposed in the second. I'm not sure it's time to throw Bray to the wolves, but if Simms keeps having Uncle Rico like performances (as one of my friends put it) the Bray era is going to have to come sooner than later.

Bray wouldn't be much better. I'm not sure he is the savior like some are claiming.

Simms is what he is. He is merely a punching bag while we transition into the Bray/Worley/who the hell ever era

If you put in Bray and he sucks, what then? Can't go back to Simms, cause you shot his confidence all to hell.

Putting Bray in down by 2 or 3 TDs with no momentum at all would be pretty much killing his confidence, too, cause he's gonna get rocked.

This season is all about next year...nothing else.

So it does appear Simms will have to wear out his welcome with Dooley before Bray gets a true shot.

I think simms needs the experience worse than bray. Simms may not be the best quarterback but he is the best quarterback at UT (for the moment). Our problems run deeper than the qb. This is a very young team. A team that is not overly talented. On top of all that, we have depth problems. I wish it were different but that's what we have to work with.

His confidence will be tested every game, he is an SEC QB.

The opposite of killing his confidence is building it up. At some point his mentality will be forged in fire.
