I don't know how long he will be out for but I was on the first row behind the bench and he was definitely in some pain.

With that said does anyone think that we would try Nash Nance some? I just don't have alot of faith in simms eventhough he seems to be tough as nails. Also, any chance Worley would get his redshirt burned? I would doubt it but he looks to have a rocket for an arm and could atleast get the ball down the field in a hurry.

Side note: I saw the one pass bray threw and it came whizzing by the bench and bouced up into the first row. The guy has a rocket arm and I'm sure everyone knows that already but I was suprised at how much velocity the ball actually had. Would have killed someone if it hit them in the back of the head:good!:

Actually prefer that over Simms, he's autrocious. Actually Worley may be our best bet left.

Sims will be the qb. It's laughable to think we should put the 4th string QB in. Worley's redshirting, and there's no reason to burn it.

The 4th string freshman was the gatorade player of the year out of South Carolina, its not laughable to think he may easily be our second best QB. If it helped our chances to win now more than Sims or Nance you wouldnt be up for it? Thats laughable.

Nash Nance is from Georgia, and he's our 4th string QB. I'm for redshirting Worley; there is absolutely no reason to burn it when, at his absolute best, he might be marginally better than Sims. And, I doubt he would be; he's still getting used to the system.

My bad I was thinking Nash was ahead of Worley on the depth chart being a sophomore. Yet It makes sense Worley should be a better player, lol gatorade player of the year from south carolina :p

Not a problem. I just think Worley needs to redshirt; I wouldn't consider playing him unless there was absolutely no other choice.

I totally agreed on redshirting Justin until this Bray injury came up now I'm not so sure we dont need him. The thoughts of losing every other game we play sickens me. Sims and Nance = mess.

Just cuz he was the player of the year doesn't mean he's better than Simms college football is a lot tougher than high school and experience is everything

I'm better than Matt Sims..he holds the ball too long and couldnt outrun my granddad.

We are one of the unluckiest teams I have ever encountered...not just this year either. When is the last time we lucked out on something?

Yeah look at how horrible Driskell did last week. He was the consensus #1 QB last year I believe. Don't burn the red shirt.

Didn't Ainge play with a broken thumb or am I making that up?

no he broke his pinky and they just taped it to his ring finger to make do. Whole different animal than a thumb.

I wouldn't blame him if he did.

Neither would I given the heartless putdowns too many fans here heap on him. All the same, I think we will see a replay of a converted Jonathan Crompton performance.
Simms will not be as electric as Bray but he will exhibit the improvements we're heard about and be surprised. We won't beat Bama this year but I think we will put a serious scare if not outright upset on LSU. We will take the Cocks by the spur and jerk the thing off. Simms is going to be a positive surprise.

Sadly, we'll need him back by then. This team might struggle to beat Vandy.

Depends on which bone is broken, etc. Could be 2-3 weeks, but if there's also ligament damage, could be the season.

Not a good injury for a QB. Small chance he may not return to pre-injury capabilities if the injury is severe enough.

Im an Orthopedic PA...not just making crap up.

No room here for opinions based on factual knowledge. :)
