Bray: No respect?

Is anyone reading this post? It is about how the HELL Wilson could be ranked above Bray when he saw limited action against a decent AU defense, but still threw 2 picks...no one cares if you want to be the underdog or not...

Midfielder: Erik Ainge also suffered a serious shoulder injury and ankle injury....this is why he underperformed...had nothing to do with a big head

This..not to mention coach Cutt had to change his throwing motion..this wasnt talked about much or out in the open..but if you watch his freshman games and his sr games it is widely noticable.

I still completely disagree. There was alot of mental abuse he took after he couldn't live up to expectations. Fulmer did a horrible job managing the Clausen/Ainge QB carousel that began after the LSU game. The huge hit vs Notre Dame he took right before half, and the game in LSU where he looked like a highschool freshman out there throwing the ball underhanded from the endzone.

Tennessee just doesn't get the preseason hype they are used to getting...just because you are the new TN QB that beat some teams doesn't warrent you national hype like it used to 6/7 years ago when Ainge was coming off his Freshman year.

In the media's eyes Arkansas is the better program coming off a BCS Bowl berth with a more established coach (Coached a winner at Louiville, then ATL Falcons)

It is what it is...if Dooley has us winning maybe Worley will get preseason hype after he fills in for Bray in a game a couple years down the road then takes over in 2013/14.

I'd say after his throat slash on tv, most people aren't gonna like him....but SCREW THEM

Midfielder:...yeah because no QB's take mental abuse when they underperform (sarcastic)....no matter how good you were or should be, if you play like crap, people dislike you

again...this post is why Wilson is ranked ahead...I don't care about how good the team is or where they were last year...fact is, Wilson played part of a game against a decent AU defense...that's it...Bray torched some bad and decent defenses...TORCHED...there is a HUGE difference...not many QB's will throw 5 TD's against ANY defenses, regardless of how good they are, or how bad the D is.

True, I agree Bray deserves more hype...but the reasons I listed above is why he isn't. It isn't based on last year productivty that is for sure.

it's just weird....I feel like these media guys pull names out of a hat and that is their rankings...I swear some of them just disagree to disagree...there is no merit behind half of their statements

I think a lot of these National media guys just didn't see Bray play much last year since the games weren't prime time matchups. They will be impressed after the UF game when TN plays the Gators on national TV on CBS.

Bray will have more yds and TD than any other SEC QB this season

And probably more INT's as well.

Didn't Crompdaddy take a ton of mental abuse then had a great last half of his senior year?..it was the injuries that did Ainge, not the bashings!!! (ohh and the drugs)

I think he has a better arm and has a better team surrounding him. He also looked very good coming in against Auburn.

Not sure that's saying much.

Regular Season Points Allowed...

Aside from holding South Carolina to 17 and Oregon to 19, their defense was pretty much garbage during the regular season.

I don't care what the media or other coaches think of him. hopefully it keeps him focused.

i think he'll end up top 2 in TDs but also top 3 in INTs

Bray's the Gunslinger of the SEC!

:gun:

I kind of like the fact that some consider Bray a gunslinger. Let the opposing defenses read up, film up,,,expecting a huge passing game,,,then hit them with Poole and Neal behind that big arse O-line. In the swamp baby,,bring the rage. The best part about all of the hype is that we are so young,,an unknown commodity. Our inexperience cost us two big games last year. These kids and staff won't forget those two should a been wins. Tyler Bray especially. GBO

Didn't Crompton come off the bench after Ainges injury and light up LSU. I understand Wilson's got great receivers/parts around him, but at the end of the day it was one game. Plus Auburn' pass defense was never good. They gave up 250 yards a game and gave up some big games to some exceedingly average qbs. (e.g. Connor Shaw)
