Bray: No respect?

Wilson is getting hype because he has a stud cast around him and a genius offensive mind on his side in Petrino.

Bray played bottom feeder teams and had some bad picks to go with his good throws.

Did UT fans not learn anything with Ainge? Blowing up a freshman's head after one good year is a death wish. When they don't live up to expectations that second year they never recover. Under the radar is a good place to be right now.

Unfortunately, I believe the Gators will be better than most here believe and will drag Brantley along. He is a good passer and will benefit from the Weis offense.

Janzen Jackson will have a pick six against Brantley to win the game over the gators in overtime, which will crush Brantley's confidence the rest of the season!

Garrett Gilbert also looked good coming in and filling in when Colt McCoy got knocked out of the National Championship game against Bama year before last. He also completely sucked last year. You can't go by one performance to determine how good a QB really is. Remember when Crompton filled in against LSU? Remember how he played as a full time starter his junior year. He was awful. I think Wilson will be pretty good, but only time will tell if he will be great. Bray has definitely proven himself more.

This is 100% correct, and is the reason why its so confusing for anyone to have so much more confidence in Wilson.

I think it comes down to winning a couple of big games. He obviously has a lot of talent and pocket awareness, he can be as good as he wants to be.

I would rather our team be underdogs so I'm fine with our QB being under the radar as well! He will shut all these "experts" up!!

I don't get the underdog thing. If we are always underdogs how will we ever be back to being a national contender? At some point we have to be the favorites if we ever get to where we need to be

Yeah the only blow going in his head was cocaine. Not even a comparison. A bottle of hydros a day washed down with a 5th of booze is what kept Ainge from reaching his potential. Not beong overhyped by UT fans.

I'd say the Notre Dame game had more to do with it. I've heard countless stories about players buying coke from fraternity houses etc. Travis Henry being the main one. Didn't effect his career (his sex drive did). Players have always done drugs and will always do drugs. Ainge had a problem but he was lights out his freshman year.

Bray saw a couple of better than average defenses in South Carolina and North Carolina., i think he'll be fine. He had three veteran receivers to throw too is a bigger concern. Knowing and running the right routes comes with time and experience. I hope they did a lot of throwing this off -season. One reason why the run game needs to be strong , this could take a few weeks to get going well.

As Dooley said, Bray has a book on him now and opposing coaches aren't always dumb, regardless of what some geniuses on here think. He's also missing 3 outstanding options who opened it up for Hunter to shine last year. Hunter/Bray won't surprise people this year and I'm seeing more over the top coverage on him, which is why we need a slot guy to surface, quickly, and the running game to step up behind a more experienced line. All of that and more goes into how Bray performs, but I like the way he plays and acts, minus the throat slash.
I pulled the championship belt move after a birdie the other day, so I can't judge too harsh on that one.
It's better just to expect improvement in the OL and with the run/pass balance, rather than expect Bray to put up 300 yds every game. It's not going to happen.

Wilson being ahead of Bray is the only one I'd complain about....well and maybe Garcia

Look what poole did behind an o line that was young and the opposition knew we were going to run the ball..when we have a balanced attack..poole's numbers will grow.

Is anyone reading this post? It is about how the HELL Wilson could be ranked above Bray when he saw limited action against a decent AU defense, but still threw 2 picks...no one cares if you want to be the underdog or not...

Midfielder: Erik Ainge also suffered a serious shoulder injury and ankle injury....this is why he underperformed...had nothing to do with a big head

What year is Wilson anyways? Reshirt junior? I'll take Bray's true freshman year over Wilson's redshirt sophomore game all day long. Bray will only get better with time too.
