Bray Leads SEC

Bray's INTs were mostly at a point in the games when the offense was on its heels because of a point deficit.

I meant, we could have won 6-7 games BY NOW.

Oh,you mean we could have beat GA,FLA,and 'Bama?
Bray is one of the worst QB's ever to play at UT. He can't throw a pass accurately under 20 yards. He can't rollout,or run.

I would gladly take a QB that was around 2nd-3rd along with a running game in the top five over a QB rated 1st and no running game period. Of course if your "D" is at the bottom the point is useless.

In total yards, TDs and least sacks.

With a normal UT D, he's done enough for UT to have won 6 or 7 games.

2012 SEC College Football Individual Statistics Leaders for Passing - ESPN

Being at the game yesterday I thought he played great, and I have been a critic so far this season. Also, I have seen him catch some grief regarding the Hunter overthrow, and the pick. Being at the game in the upper deck I have to put the blame more on Hunter. The overthrow (where the DB fell) was in the air forever-Hunter made no adjustment to it, and flat out stopped. He made another poor adjustment to the ball that was picked at the end of the game.

One more thing on Bray-he started off slow, and I think he was worried about the rush. Once he gained complete confidence in the line his mechanics were great, and what resulted was the most efficient game he has ever had against a D like that. Just shows the potential he has with his talent-if he can put that together with mechanics and film study the sky is the limit. I know he has been battling with fans-I just hope he understands the frustration stems from the fact that we all see the potential for greatness-he just needs to grab a hold of it.

Note that Bray has played vs. 5 SEC teams with a total of 6 losses ALL YEAR. Now the fun starts and he's going to have a field day padding his stats.

I said in Aug that he'd have 3600 yards and 35 TDs, which eclipses PManning's Jr.-Year stats -- 3,287 yds and 20 Tds. He'll probably get to 3600 and 30 in 12 games. PManning played 13.

Stats are ok and sure Bray might break some of Mannings records but Bray hasn't beaten Florida, Georgia or Alabama and gone to a major bowl...yet

in 3 of the 5 losses in conference, tennessee put up 31, 44, and 35 points.

while there is the occasional game where the defense doesn't have it and the offense is expected to cut the slack and vice versa......when you score 31 points, you should win.

i'd have to look it up, but i can't remember the last time florida scored 31 points and lost.

PManning is a HOFer, so I'm not comparing Bray to him.
Bray has played UF and UGA only twice, and Alabama once.
And UT's D is the worst since 1893.
When PManning arrived at UT in 1994, the program was in the middle of a 16-year winning % that lead FBS -- 157 wins from 89-04 was tops.
When Bray arrived, the program was, well, you know....

Despite the loss, Bray played really well yesterday. Clowney owned Tiny on that last fumble and it was not Bray's fault - no way he could have seen it coming. The int was just a desperation pass. No, this one is on the defense as it usually is.

SCe
UGA
MSU
Not Alabama.
Poss UF -- remember, we were ahead of UF and running well up the middle -- then the bad D set in.

Worst? Are you high?

Thats why he is going to be a first round draft pick, when he decides to enter........high 2nd at most.

They listed him 9th overall pick this summer, before season.

Worst QB's to play at UT? That's one of the dumbest things I've heard lately and that's saying a lot
