Loved seeing him show emotion about throwing the last pick. He sat by himself on one knee and you could see him begging and pleading for the D to somehow stop NC. To many times players just act like "whatever", or "its not my fault", etc. This kid seems to hate losing as bad as we do, and IMO thats even more reason for us to be excited about our future. GBO.

As long as he doesn't "show emotion" after every* loss like Tebow did then ok with it.... There comes a point to where your just like "Really? Again?"

EDIT* forgot the every part of loss.

I agree but somehow enemies will try to suggest otherwise. Look how they treated Tebow, acknowledged as one of the most competitive kids in the sport.

Well it was bitter pill after all the success he's had over the last month. But he shouldn't even had been put in that situation to begin with. The POT missed by Daniel Lamecoln. The meltdown of the secondary allowing a 1st down with 3rd and 20. The PF afterwards. The refs blowing the one second call.

i agree but he wouldn't be crying if the refs would have not came back on the field after clearly saying THE GAME IS OVER and review the final play

If Bray has any where near the results Tebow had, I dont give a crap what they say about him.

from all the reports at the start of the year with people saying he wasnt dedicating himself to football and learning the system, i think he came a long way after watching him at the end of the game... the kid wants to be a winner, and i love that..

Well he cares and felt bad. Can't blame him. As long as he doesn't start kissing other players or letting a face mask get in the way of french kissing the head coach he'll be fine.

Costly lesson IMO. One minute you are drawing attention to yourself and acting like you are king of the world (which could have gotten us costly penalties both times) and the next you realize you are still a kid and aren't as great as you thought. The boy went from no confidence to too much fast. BUT, in his defense he is young and did have a good freshman game in his first bowl. Maybe the lesson is learned and we can go on to better times.

Bray is young, and he will make mistakes. I think he will take many lessons from his first season in orange and be a better person and football player for it.

GBO!

Bray has to get over that. Get mad after an interception and then get over it. That's basically what Peyton does.

Of course, sometimes he then goes back out and throws another one, but he doesn't let the last one bother him too long.

The loss wasn't Bray's fault. The Frosh showed great promise for the future and played well.

Bray should focus on eating and the weight room during the offseason. This one is over.

I thought is was we made fun of Meyer for crying and Tebow for his roommate kissing him on the cheek ?

an odd but interesting/intriguing (can't figure the right word) take on part of Bray per CFN:

But in the end, the way this game ended could be the best possible thing to happen to Volunteer football.

Kansas State was nailed for one salute in the end zone, but Bray was saluting and gesturing all night after making several big plays and didn’t get flagged for any of it. He’s an elite talent who’ll be the face of the franchise for the next three years, and if being humbled a bit by an overtime interception, and if being slapped in the face by a disappointing loss, ends up being the catalyst that hardens Bray and the team through the adversity, then Vol fans, your team won.

"He has to get over that"?? Over what, one person gets mad, one sheds a tear and literally begs his D to hold up. IMO it takes more emotion to fight back tears than it does to get mad. After the game, yes he has to let it go, but what I saw was a young QB wishing he could have another chance to get back on the field to fix it.

Well, get ready to jump on me with both feet. I like Bray & I think he is gonna be a great player BUT I hope he got humbled by this experience & learns from it. I am old school & don't like all the double throat slashes & saluting & all the showmanship. I prefer to have a QB that does his job & then quietly says, Check the scoreboard. I hope CDD can get this team to mature & quickly.

I agree with your opinion of the throat slashes, I dont have a problem with a salute or the loco. They must be allowed to have some fun.

I like the LOCO thing, it seems to be more of a team thing vs the saluting which kind of addresses the fans. To each his own I guess.

Poor guy. Played a good game and won it then the refs decided to give it to UNC at the last. What a shame.
