Glad you have all this inside information... lol Of course Dooley isn't going to say anything about black jerseys.. He shouldn't even be thinking about them.. As far a coach goes he should be focusing 100% on the game.. They all said the same thing in 09... No black jerseys.. yada yada yada... look what happened... they made everyone just like you shut up....

To the guy referring to me as a old fart im 32 dont really think thats a old fart yet,but im just about tradition and why do we have to use gimmicks anyway,just play good football in the regular orange and white and beat the Gamecocks Saturday nite.

The black jerseys are awesome! I agree that they are great for recruiting, and will pump up our players before the game.

We don't have a shot at winning the SEC... We do have a shot at beating SC Sat night though.. Remember in 09 when they came out wearing black?? The stadium was electric.. we got things going they way we wanted to early... crowds can play a huge factor in games.. If it pumps the crowd up and pumps the players up then I am all for it...

My reference was more toward the attitude than actual age. I am 35. I care about tradition as well. The problem comes when tradition gets in the way of progress for the future. That was Fulmer's problem he wanted to bask in the glow of the past while the game moved on without him. I don't care if we wear black jerseys or not that is not the point. The point is the game is going to progress and move forward the question is are we.:hi:

There will always be people that whine or condemn something just so they stand out. Fact is, the players asked the fans to do this. Nothing more needs to be said. It isn't an original idea, it doesn't look particularly cool, and black makes almost no sense for UT. Who cares? Cry.

I think the black makes sense, but only because it's Halloween weekend. That's what I think is so cool about the black and orange. It fits the holiday perfectly. It may not be original, but who cares? It's fun.

Sometimes I regret getting involved on here. I can't stand some of the ignorant things people on here say, and I feed them by trying to talk to them xD
