You know what quotations signify? Exact wording.
I've never said specifically that black jerseys help recruiting.

What I said is that it excites the players and when the players are pumped (as they were against SC) they go out there with some meaning. The fans get pumped. The stadium gets loud.

Then YOU said that "pregame electricity" affects nothing with recruiting. From such a traditionalist asshat, I'm surprised. The opening of the T (which occurred BEFORE winning (which is the end all be all for you)) was super loud last time we wore black jerseys.

THAT helps recruiting. Excited fans and excited players.

Wearing special uniforms and having blackouts or whiteouts is bush league,kid stuff.Its pretty simple Just win Baby. Winning cures everything and this fan base needs a quality win badly and something to believe in.

According to a reliable source, key boosters pretty much said this would never happen again after the '09 game. However, CDD does apparently have a "Surprise" for the team this Saturday. This coming from a friend of mine who works on the Football staff

This is the problem in Knoxville too many old farts think that the game of football is about them. They fail to realize it is about the kids. They just get the privilege to watch them turn from boys to men as they grow through the program. ie (VFL)
