I still have never seen a compelling argument to change uniform colors. Neither has Dooley since we wont be wearing them Saturday. Maybe you should right that post in letter form and send it to him. It will be sure to convince him.

1. I'm more for the crowd wearing black than the team wearing black
2. I care more about winning than any other issue with this team

How in the hell you get that I care more about what colors we wear than winning is beyond me. I'm done responding, because you are now pulling crap out of thin air, and it is extremely obvious.

I wasn't talking about you. I care more about winning than jersey color, which apparently makes me less of a fan than some of the metros in this thread.

Yeah... LSU has Cool gloves with the EYE of the Tiger on them... They don't need cool Jerseys... Lol You're Naive if you think that recruits watching the games don't care about stuff like that... They do...

Why don't you just say I care more about winning than the kids on the team. This is something they are interested in. Why not support them. We forget that these are still kids in college not professional athletes. I think there would be a big difference if this was just something our fan base wanted, but they go out and work hard every week and want to do this, so I don't see a problem in rewarding them. Regardless of their record they still go out every week and work hard.

I agree that winning creates electricity. But we haven't been winning and don't have the caliber of players that Bama has. So Neyland will not be as electric as those places Saturday night.

When you don't have that, why not try something new that creates motivation/electricity/a spark? Call it a "gimmick" if you like, but 18 year old kids like "gimmicks" and if it makes them play harder, why would you not be for it?
