The black jerseys two years ago pumped everybody up. Traditions are great and I believe you should hold on to them. But, what's wrong with starting new ones? One black jersey game a year.

This is true we got Reggie White cause his mother told him she wouldn't allow him to go to Bama. So it wasn't the orange! Then Manning was due to Cutcliffe and Berry is family so I doubt that the orange is that powerfull. Most people hate it, it doesn't matter if they wear Black or Orange but they are asking us as fans to wear Black so help them out wear Black. Now that hard and would be cool to see a differnt color in the stands every now and then!

From what I've heard, Dooley currently stands against the uni change for saturday. Now, this could be simple coach posturing or it could be a real commitment to the traditional team uniform. I guess we'll find out on saturday night; however, it definitely seems like it's something that the players are clammering for. On the one hand, it could potentially energize them, but on the other hand, their previous play doesn't exactly warrant a coach succumbing to his players' demands. It's a tough call. What do you all think? Personally, I think black unis might be a good call for the USC game at least, regardless of our previous 2nd half meltdowns.

I mean, it's worth at least a try. Who knows? Maybe it gets us over the 2nd half slump. We won't know until we see it in action though.

If the team wants it. If it's gives them an extra oomph, heck why not. I'm an old fuddy duddy that still uses a rotary phone. Gosh I miss the party lines. But as long as they have orange in the uniforms, and they play with a tenacious Vol attitude, let the kids have fun. We all have to remind ourselves that it's a game. A wrinkle don't hurt every now and then.
