I see a lot of hate towards bray on here. I agree he had a terrible 3rd quarter yesterday but its time for some others to be held accountable. Hunter is looking to be more of a diva than Rogers was. His attitude since the Florida game has been sorry and he offers nothing if the ball is not coming to him. CP dropped his second Big touchdown catch in crucial times and runs back to the huddle laughing. And Neal missed what could of been the biggest play of the game when bray stayed calm bought time and found a wide open receiver after directing Neal to the open field. Way too many dropped passes yet our wideouts never get criticized. Not to mention the momentum killers the offensive line provides with their multiple false starts a game and the amount of pressure they allowed in Brays face. If I find a fault in Bray its not getting in the guys face and holding them accountable.

I don't think I have seen too many people bashing Bray on here after the game yesterday. He still committed 4 turnovers by himself, and hasn't won a big SEC game yet. Time is running out for him to do so as well.

I do not think it is hate but disappointment. Everyone assumed he would be a more clutch player. But obviously he still is growing into the position. One big SEC win will help with is confidence.

*The above statement are my thoughts and by no way a prediction of the future of the TN football program.

facts are facts...against FL he gave up u could see it in his face late in the game he didn't care...then tonight he had 4 turnovers 2 chances to tie up the game and he couldn't finish!!

This is brays first go round as "the guy" in the gauntlet of our schedule. He will get better every game he plays and he should be back next year for a run at the Heisman. Book it!

The complaints against Bray are completely legitimate. He has openly shown a poor attitude on the field in the past when things didn't go his way (ex. Florida game). At some point, people would like to see him address his frustration quickly, and then move on. At times, he has looked like nothing more than a big baby out there. Now, to his defense, and agreeing with your point, there have been way too many dropped passes by his WR corps, and that will do no good in giving him confidence that he can trust them to make a good play. Hunter has been especially disappointing, and Patterson as well, dropping potential game-changing passes. They have shown nothing of any 1st round draft potential, and are continually letting Bray down in big game situations. This cannot happen for a team that relies so heavily on its offense in general to win games, and whose passing game dictates its effectiveness. Bray needs reliability lined up out wide and in the slot, and he is not getting it when it matters most.

Edit: I also think a little of the frustration with Bray's play could be directed towards Chaney, and the tough position I feel like he sometimes puts Bray in with his play calling.

He has a lot of football knowledge yet to learn before I see him on the Heisman ballet. He has raw talent but he still needs to learn the game.

I actually like Bray, but he has yet to prove he can win a big time sec game. He had three chances at the end yesterday to either tie or win the game, which ended in him throwing 2 ints and him fumbling. He has to make the plays in those situations, though I also relize his receivers need to quit dropping balls.

Hunter is acting like a diva? What? Bray is awesome. We'd be **** without him. We'd lost by 30.

52%, 4 TDs, 5 INTs, 1 fumble.

That's Bray in SEC game this year

Without Bray we wouldn't of even had a shot to win the game. Can't deny that. Sure he fumbled at the worst time, but dude has not been in any situtation like that before.

I have studied Tennessee football for over 25 years and I can tell you there isn't a chance in $%## a Tennessee player will get the Heisman in '13. That, you can book. Sorry.

Totally disagree... Not counting the turnovers, but we have a QB that doesn't have the cerebral skills to check out of bad plays into good plays. He did it 3 or 4 times yesterday, and was embarrassed by the Ga. defense.

This is the difference between TB versus Murray, McCarron, Wislon, Shaw, and Franklin.

If Bray goes pro after this year, I'll be excited to see either Worley or Peterman. They may not have the velocity that Bray has on a pass, but they may be able to read alignments and put us in the right play at the line of scrimmage.

Every time someone has had a "book it" moment the past 2 years, it has been everything but that. Please stop making yourself look like a cheap fortune teller. People "booked" a 10-2 season, people "booked" 400 yards passing and a 20 point win over Florida, etc. It's ridiculous.

well there is a bunch of people on here that refuse to believe that dooley is the reason for the downfall of tn football, so if its not dooley then is it bray? he is leading the team on the field..how many posters have put on here "dooley cant get out there and play"

And Bray can't block for himself step back in the pocket and throw the ball and then go catch it himself. It's sad when there could be an argument made that Zach Rogers is his most dependable target.

Raw natural talent, strong arm, inability to run, panics under pressure, poor decisionmaking in the clutch, questionable leadership, inconsistent ball protection, inability to finish in big games against good opponents-- that's what fans are saying about Bray. It isn't hating; it's just voicing frustration at critical shortcomings still holding him-- and the team-- back in his third year. Coaches are frustrated, too. He's a good QB that should have been elite.

I wish for a QB like Geno Smith on West Virginia

Florida? He folded

And you're right. Normally he's so bad we're not in the game

You'd have to be a delusional ****tard to think that either Bray or Dooley are the reason UT is where it is right now.
