Funny, I'm not overrating Worley.

You, on the other hand, seem to think he's on the level of Bray, who he couldn't beat out when Bray was sick with a broken throwing hand.

The comedy is infinite on this board.

The QB gets the glory and the blame and I'm sure Bray knows that's a part of the job. But most of you are either trolling, jealous for whatever reason or completely delusional.

Considering the zombies we've had at QB's since Casey Clausen left, how can he be overrated?

IDK if he's overrated, but he's certainly inconsistent. He may mature into an outstanding QB, but he needs to bring it against some quality teams first. Too bad we couldn't make it to a bowl-- it would have been revealing to see if he could have bounced back after that hideous UK game.

Can we let the kid play a full damn season before saying hes overrated? Hell he missed 5 games this season, and practically the full season last season... If the kid plays a full season where he plays every single down and just does terrible, then i'll agree.. Untill then, hes a damn good QB.

Bray has shown he can take a loaded 4 star offensive line, and a couple NFL WRs and beat up on mediocre teams. Against good teams, he looks like a very overrated QB. he throws just as many INTs as he does TDs and he does not like to check the ball down when his WRs are double or triple covered. He would just prefer to throw into coverage and hope his star WR makes the play. He is not a very smart QB going into year 3. Is Worley better? I have no idea. I did see Worley beat up on a mediocre team much the same way Bray does vs MTSU. He did so without having near the time to prepare as a true freshman as Bray was given last year. Bray was brought along slowly with the staff having full intention of putting him in when the cupcake teams showed up on the schedule. Worley did not get that chance. I do feel that Bray is very overrated and 2012 he either shows some QB smarts or he loses his job.

Not totally unfair.

One area Bray must improve on, is executing a running play. When he hands off to a back, its almost like, here ya go dude, make the best of it.

He needs to add ball fakes to make the LB or DE think about him for a second....this is a weakness of his at this time.

Here's there argument as to why Bray is overhyped and a joke:
1. He hasnt beaten a ranked team or even been close(within a TD) and he does the throat slash and other cocky gestures when he has had 2 losing seasons.

4. They rank him as the 4th best qb in the SEC. They would all prefer Murray, Tyler Wilson and Connor Shaw over Bray.
5. UT finished 11th in the SEC and is getting embarassingly worse...end of story.

As much as it pains me to say, they have some valid points...I think the jury is still out on Bray.

LSU and Arky back on there schedule they too will be a comedy. As for Auburn they are there as of 2013. So please go spew that garbage with your loser friends elswhere.
You have just criticized your QB for being the 4TH best in the SEC after his Sophomore year. GET A GRP....LOL

Sometimes I wonder if Bray will be back as good as he was before he was hurt. If he doesn't deliver next season we are in for another long year.

You are dead on CP.

I have never encountered a fan base so disjointed, love struck, and butt hurt over young players.

Bray has the best looking arm we have seen in years. He loses his top receiver, he has the least productive running game I can remember at UT, he hurts his thumb in his throwing hand, he comes back early and plays through it, and the line for throwing him under the bus grows and grows.

I get it. I hate that Tennessee had a crappy season. It makes me feel bad to see my favorite team lose, but it's not Bray's fault alone. Get over it.

For the OP's friends... I have had Auburn fans tell me they would trade whoever they had at qb at the time for Bray in a heartbeat. UGA fans are still busy getting theirs after being a joke in the SEC under Goff for all those years and Donnan not taking them where they wanted to be. For that manner, I have had bammers talk about how much better their team would be with Bray.

after the vandy game everyone was all over bray then one week later he is overrated and we need a new QB.. he starts the season off at a blistering pace then his number 1 wr goes down mid game and still has a good game... then breaks his thumb where he cant throw for 6 weeks comes back and has two up and down games... was that not expected?

Bray is going to have a monster year next year and this thread should have gasoline thrown on it and burned before most of you end up looking like idiots
