Seriously? Put our best player on Cobb (who might that be?) and run the ball down their throats (who might do that?)?

Tru-dat, no more give me's for UT anymore. We-a-gunna need to do a great job passing over the LBs to loosen up the Ds for us to win out IMO. After the USC game, teams are going to have respect our passing game more, that will be the difference. No more stacking the box daring us to pass. They're going to be hoping they can force us to run the ball now, IMO.

Okay, look at it this way. We are 2-6 against the meat of our schedule with a depleted group. Our experience is up and the competition is down. If you think that isn't reason for some positive vibes for this team, then I question your thought process.

I say give them support and raise your expectations. Real Fans do that!

GO VOLS!!

I have been slow to comment on Tyler Bray's performance because I do not want to seem biased, but as I read the excuses given by the current starting quarterback, now is the time to make a change for the future of UT football. Time and time again I have watched an offense that has been "managed". With Tyler you have playmaking ability and savvy not seen in many Freshman signal callers. Both have fine ability, but in a season of transistion, now is the time to make that change......

RUN THE 2 MINUTE DRILL ALL THE TIME.

let bray run the 2 minute drill in the shotgun and we will win.

take the oregon approach.........quick and often.

it is our only defense against a young offensive line

Great post! Count me in as well.

Well, this is the only thread of hope left for a "season". I too, will keep this thought alive until otherwise demonstrated.

Bray gives us opportunities to move the chains, he can use the entire field (over the middle)...in spite of what Simms says, he cannot use the middle of the field effectively with his slow-mo windup.

So...I look forward to the next phase of this season.

Kentucky is 1-3 on the road.Miss State beat them last nite playing field position and running the ball.
If you want names, Jackson, Poole and Neal.

Ky lost to Florida (beat us already), Ole Miss, & Miss. State (prolly better than us). I wouldn't say that beating Ky is a slam dunk, exactly.

Some folks predicted the mid- to late-season change at QB in preseason...Good call. It was just a matter of time for Brey to learn enough of the offense to function in order to win the job. He has so much more of an upside, and that's what all the recruiting experts raved about. We saw it Sat and I believe the change is now a given. Announcement will come tommorrow after CDD talks to both of the QBs in my opinion.

We match up a lot better with remaining teams and we will actually have some position mismaches in our favor for a change. You'll see our statistics improve as well as our record...can we get to 6-6? Yes and we don't have to play perfect to do it. We were tied in the 4th Qtr against a top 25 team after -3 turnover ratio/stupid penalties.

UK was absolutely destroyed by UF. Ole Miss led the entire game, and State never trailed either. They're not a slam dunk for us by any means, but they're no different than any typical UK team.

I think the most likely scenario is that we lose to Ole Miss and beat Vandy, UK, and Memphis.
