Bray should be concentrating on UT Football and homework (and girls) while in Knoxville.

And the sooner guys figure out popping your collar makes you look toolish the better. Worst fashion idea since Jamz.

When I was in college the button down collar was in vogue. WHAT IN THE WORLD HAS HAPPENED TO THESE KIDS TODAY?

it still is. Those who have never stepped foot on fraternity row at UT carry some image in their head of fraternities they see on television or in movies...likely because they couldn't get into one.

In reality, the only popped collars you see at UT belong to GDIs.

Or enrolled 4 years at UT and experienced typical behavior in class, out at the bars and even at some of their parties.

likely because they couldn't get into one.

Hah! Believe it or not, the huge percentage of students that are not in frats did not ever wish to be in one.

I had to google GDI. You really think so? I would say more than 80% of pop collars are on frat row...

Being in a fraternity nearly 20 yrs ago I can tell you that some of the images on TV or in movies is dead on and some aren't .
And the "popped collar" thing has been prevalent on fraternity row on nearly every college campus for years. "Jersey Shore" just brought it back into the limelight.

I havent seen too many frat boys popping the collar this semester. I think the song that came out a few years ago had something to do with the latest wave of collar-popping. The buttondown polo shirt is still popular though. Nothing at all wrong with that either.

Is a popped collar the same things as a broken clavicle? We had a few of those at my frat, but then again, we were not on fraternity row and our house is now a parking lot. . .

This was an opinion article written in the Daily Beacon. Had some good laughs in it.

Now that I think about it, it very well could be the after effects of a particularly good sorority mixer.:good!:

getting back on topic, since when did SGA accomplish anything? It's usually just resume material for kids who are trying to go to grad school. The only thing they did when I was at UT was make it so you couldn't buy cigs with bonus bucks. Thanks for your contribution.
