Bray/Brantley

I can't wait to see what Vol fans say when Brantley (the worse qb in the sec) beats you for the 2nd time.....

You still stand by this statement after Newton's performance in the UK vs WK game?

I always thought Tebow=Tee Martin in talent.

Tebow was significantly better than Tee as a college QB in every area. I don't like Tebow and am rooting for him to get caught up in an internet sex scandal but he was way better than Tee.

Gators fans are, for the most part, skeptical that Brantley will be a successful QB. This despite the coaching staff, Weis in particular, and the players as well telling us that he has been wonderful. Of course, he had a bad spring game.

Volunteer fans are convinced that Bray will be ultra successful. Of course, he had a bad spring game.

Should we draw any conclusions?

Are Volunteer fans convinced that Bray will be " ultra successful "? Bray showed flashes of great ability last year, but never with any real consistency. I can't speak for the QB Brantley as I've never seen him play, but I see skepticism as healthy. Has the guy proven himself? Still I do not understand the reason why two rivals fanbases perspectives of their QBs means much. Is there a point that I am missing here?

...No way he is serious.

He is funny

Either you are delusional in thinking that UF will be a pushover or you let your hatred overtake your ability to think rationally. Or both.

How long have you been drinking? Tebow might be a way better short-yardage back, but that guy couldn't pass his way out of a wet paper bag... ask Denver.

These players are UF students. They may learn a little faster than you are accustomed to.

I hear you can get a BS in aluminum can colllection and shopping cart handling down there at the U of F. It is their most pretigious program.

I love Tee, but Tebow is one of the greatest college players of all-time.

First round:

Bray 17/24 293 yds 12.1 yds/att 3 td 0 int

Brantley 21/30 226 yds 7.6 yds/att 1 td 2 int

First round to Bray by a large maragin. Second round next Saturday. Main event: Saturday after next.

Considering the competition, 1 TD and 2 INTs is absolutely pathetic.

CFN thinks Brantley is going to be connecting on haymakers? HA! Their gameplan is to dump to to Rainey and let him do his thing.

I don't think there's any question, Bray is going to put up better numbers. I think Tennessee needs to load the box and force Brantley to beat them down the field.

I watched some of the UAB game and while I still believe Brantley has great talent... he seemed a little Cromptonesque to me. His decisions were poor and throws were off the mark except for down the middle or swing passes. I don't think he is capable now of winning the game for UF but can lose it for them. I do not think their 1st 2 games revealed anything about their WR's. The TE's are good.

I think golfballs may have nailed it. Load the box and force Brantley to make quality throws and quick decisions. IMO, that makes Wilcox's playcalling very important. It may be a bigger test for him vs Weis than the physical test for UT's D.
