Gators fans are, for the most part, skeptical that Brantley will be a successful QB. This despite the coaching staff, Weis in particular, and the players as well telling us that he has been wonderful. Of course, he had a bad spring game.

Volunteer fans are convinced that Bray will be ultra successful. Of course, he had a bad spring game.

Should we draw any conclusions?

You guys are still sold on Brantley? Lulz

The difference here is that Bray had a bad spring game and a good year last year as a freshman on a lesser talented team, while Brantley struggled to handle a center/QB exchange on a team loaded with talent.

He also struggled in the spring game.

Nailed it. I wouldn't wipe my butt with spring game stats.

And for what it's worth, I thought the prevailing thought was that Brantley wouldn't be successful in UF's system. Well, now the system appears to be changing. However, the rest of the team will have to change to meet the new system. As a result, I'd expect a few tough years before everyone is on the same page.

We should be able to take advantage of that in the next 2 or 3 years.

Conclusions are Bray played in 40mph gusts. Brantley had to throw out of the vacuum created by Weiss eating. Tough circumstances for both.

These players are UF students. They may learn a little faster than you are accustomed to.

My feelings have been crushed. Thanks for destroying my self-esteem. I got my Ph.D. at UT and am now a tenure-track professor. I never knew until now that we are dumber than other students. I'll never be able to face the world confidently again.

You guys are fun. Good luck with tenure VolLee. What's your field? I am a retired prof myself.

Really ironic about the Weis eating vaccuum joke. When Weis was at ND he was the object of much worse eating jokes (we'd occasionally throw one in for Fulmer). Now that he's a Gator the fans seem to adore him. All is forgotten.

I had hoped to elicit an over-the-top response from "Big Al", but I can see that is not going to happen.

This....Bray proved he can ball....while the hyped Brantley proved well nothing on a superior athletic 5* dominated team of kids.

Cheer up, reptiles are primarily reflexive, no brain power needed or used. That's why when you cut off the head and place a heat producing object near it, you still get a reaction. Like frog legs when you touch them with an electric current. Intelligence has nothing to do with it.

"inbread coaches"??? Are you trying to prove a point I only made humorously? I'll take the gentlemanly route and assume that it is the DAWG in the screen name voldawgforever that accounts for the spelling.
