Alot of these personal fouls are BS. It's happening in lots of games now. Everything is a foul. Difficult.

By and large, no one would care at all about Bray's celebrations except for that idiot ref call earlier today in the Kansas State game... besides the throat slash, which was over the line and shouldn't happen again, but it's Bray's first "big" game and I'm sure he was a little caught up in the action of the game.

JJ's hit was debatably a personal foul, but it was a football play. Jackson's PF on a QB hit was soft and the same thing happened to Bray a couple times with no calls. Williams's helmet throw is bad, but we got screwed by the rulebook if not by the refs (let's face it - by the refs, too). Still, that one didn't look so good, along with the throat slash, I guess (though who really cares about that gesture? Maybe Bray's back tat makes it more threatening from him, but come on). The rest were inventions of Bob Davie trying to protect the poor little North Carolina boys from the mean, violent, big, bad Tennessee criminals. Spare me.

Wait I loved all those guys but don't condemn taunting a team and Mention Casey Clausen. He said if he played the year with James Banks at qb he could have beaten Georgia with one arm tied behind his back. the next season we got rolled by them. Also in 2001 after the team flew back from beating Florida in Swamp and Casey had roses in his mouth with the SEC championship game to play.Not bright decisions.

Kid is still a Freshman. Hell most Teens are punks lol. I know I was at that age. He is still a kid. He needs to grow up some more no doubt, and he will.

He is a cocky 18 year old. Hell if I had that kind of talent at his age I would have worn a Elvis Vegas Cape and shades to the Post Office. Hell I wouldnt walk into the DMV without Entrance Music.

Hell he will grow up. Tell you this. Glad he plays for us. The SEC better take notice. Love him or hate him this kid is for real. I truly believe Bray is going to be something special.

Bray is just a freshman and I expect huge things from him. But this needs to be a learning lesson that a QB has to the General on the field- you can't get too high or low. Control your emotions, Bray, and you'll be a UT legend.

DD's fault 100%. Why he promoted this :loco: crap I have no idea. Our frosh coach needs his butt kicked by Dad who would never have put up with this garbage much less promoted it.

Of course here we are on Volnation and lookee who promotes this :loco: emoticon. :blink:

I am a big DD fan. He's a frosh coach and at times shows it. Slack administered and given.

I agree. I mean when put in context is there really any difference between the :loco: and the gator chomp? Is it any more condecending? Taunting? No. It's not. The only thing any of our players did that was a little out of line was the cut throat sign done by Bray. And even I think people are making entirely too big of a deal about that as well.

R we having this covo right now? He's a player who's been through a lot ever since kiffi betrayed him along with ut. He's finally seeing success and he's having fun out there. I do agree he needs to tone it down but In no way does this make him a punk.

I like his emotion. If he throws a big TD to tie it in OT? **** yeah he needs to show that hes excited. No one seems to mention UNC taunting our crowd after the FG to send it to OT. I will defend this kid because hes done wonders for our program as just a freshman.

He's a freshman and an 18/19-year-old kid who is just now learning that this ship is his now for the next three years. He's been criticized all year about being laid back and not showing anything. Yeah, some of it was probably over the top, but he wanted to show his teammates he had their back. Will he be doing stuff like that two years from now? Probably not. But this team went through a lot to get to that bowl and he was just caught up with the emotion. Get over it.
And, no, we are not "bad" guys. We are "young" guys. That's why you had personal foul after personal foul at the end of regulation. They are still learning. And they will be much more mature for it in two years.

The kid is awesome and just showing emotion. WHO CARES! The kid is gonna be the man here for a while. I love what he brings to UT! Did you see the kids in the stands with their shirts off that had Bray written on their backs like his tat? That was pricelss. Have fun son and lead us to the promised land. If we get our running game straight in the offseason which I know we will LOOK OUT!
