Braxton Miller

After the game today. Adding a mobile veteran QB and letting Dobbs get a RS sure doesn't sound horrible.

Think he stays at OSU. Shoulders hate UT, especially with Worley, Hurd, and North.

He's a elite talent. If he does transfer, the Barn would be a great fit. Marshall is a senior and he would do well with Malzahn.

I know he will probably transfer due to a younger guy having the year he did and being a more long term solution. Where he goes idk but I'd say UF (depending on coach), Bama and some others will be letting him know about his chance to play. It would be cool to get him but doubt that happens.

Edit: oh and auburn with this guy would be ridiculous

Insiders on reddit saying he's going to Oregon. Uh oh all the Oregon insiders are on reddit but besides that it does make a lot of sense.

Please tell me that you didn't just watch the Candy game and think we are good at QB. Braxton Miller would be a blessing to this team.

I think we are good at QB. I also think not having several of our top WRs, a pourous offensive line, and our best RB out made for a difficult game for Dobbs today.

I would 100% take him. But with our luck he will end up in either Tuscaloosa or Gainesville.
I doubt Saban would want him at Bama. He still prefers the pocket passer, even though Blake Sims doesn't quite fit that role for them. He's their most senior QB, and that's why he got the starting job, IMHO.

UF might be a real possibility...but not if Butch gets on him before they can hire a new coach.

I am one of Dobbs' biggest fans, but I can see he still needs some further development in the passing game. He could be Miller's backup and if Miller could stay healthy all year, that means Dobbs could get that redshirt.

But with mobile QB's it's hard to make it through a full season, healthy. So, I'd feel a LOT better about our chances next year, with Miller and Dobbs, than Dobbs and Peterman.

Actually....it'd be a PERFECT situation for us.

Miller comes here, eligible immediately, plays next year.

THEN Dobbs is (hopefully) finally able to get the redshirt he's been needing.

Then, in 2016, you have a RS JR Dobbs, a RS Fr Jennings and Dormady, and a True Freshman Kendall.

So, yes, it'd be a GREAT situation for this to happen in.

It would be the first time (that I can think of) a team would RS 3 Qbs same year. I would not mind if Dobbs really wants to RS though. (I think Dobbs will be great, just meant if that is what Dobbs wants)

A lot of wishful thinking there. No way you go through a season with 1 QB who has the health issues Miller has had. You can't just redshirt everyone lol.

And Miller isn't coming to UT anyway. Dobbs is the starting QB. Having 1st team reps through spring, summer and fall will make a huge difference. You don't redshirt him now lol. That train left when Worley got hurt.

He prob stays now that JT broke his ankle. If he does leave then talk about a crazy recruitment ahead... Oregon, FSU, Bama, Florida, Ole Miss will be breaking out that checkbook
