Brandon Warren??

For Warren not to be able to block or catch very well, Fulmer and Clawson really want him on the field awful bad. Oh wait, according to them he can catch and block very well and he is a great athlete. Maybe he has just improved 100% since he was Freshman All-American at FSU when he wasn't very good..............

No word on Warren
Tuesday featured another impressive Brandon Warren performance on the practice field, and another day of UT coaches impatiently waiting for the SEC’s ruling on the Florida State tight end transfer’s eligibility status.

“I just hope we can have him,” Clawson said. “He’s a good athlete. There’s no question that he can help our football team. It would be a great bonus if we have him, and hopefully that will work out.

“I don’t want to go to the other place.”

Fulmer raved about Warren’s versatility, which would be a tremendous asset to a team searching for H-back Chris Brown’s replacement.

“Brandon can play on the ball and be tough enough to get after a defensive end well enough,” Fulmer said. “He can certainly play off the ball, or in the backfield, or even split out as a wide receiver or slot receiver. He’s a football player. He catches on really well, and he’s got the mentality that you like to coach. He doesn’t like to be tackled. He likes to win the drills.

“He is one heck of a football player.”

My guess is that you haven't read through the whole thread or you wouldn't have reposted exactly what 3 or 4 others posted and what I have cleared up multiple times.

Thanks for playing though. Anyone else wanna try to sound clever by replicating this post again?

Then he must have worked very hard on those two areas because he dropped a lot of balls at FSU and wasn't a very good blocker either. Also, he fumbled way too many times in relevance to how many catches he had. That being said, he was a Freshman and hopefully he has since matured and worked hard in his time off.

I am just stating what the coaches are saying about him compared to what you said. Apparently he has really improved a lot since he use to drop a lot of balls and couldn't block very well. I still haven't figured out how he was voted Freshman All-American with him playing that way......

Wow....when I posted originally, all I wanted was news on whether BW was eligible or not. Did not care if Jim Bob Cooter was equal to Michael Phelps or not.

Looks as if the SEC and NCAA are not going to announce anything soon...hopefully they will, but I guess we will see

I meant that literally that he he indeed must have improved. You haven't figured out how someone was voted freshman all american with 28 catches and a touchdown? I am wondering the same thing bro. Perhaps they took the horrendous QB play into consideration? :)

I'm not getting sucked back into this. Scroll back through and retype the posts in a word document if you want to repeat things. You can paste my answers in as well.

Did you go to Murvul High?

you clearly don't understand the analogy i'm trying to make. Incidentally, that might be why you're sensitive about ACT score! :) j/k

Walk into any public area and there are going to be a lot of people that scored below 30 on the ACT. That'd be like me saying there are a lot of people in this thread shorter than 7 feet.

The word "OR" would imply otherwise, not to mention that just wouldn't make any sense. It's one of those "whichever way you prefer to look at it scenarios". The point may not change but you don't have to try to insult people's intelligence to get that point across, especially when your insult isn't accurate to begin with.

Another thing you must be corrected on is the fact that you keep saying stuff like "hes not as bad a player as you are making him out to be"???? Not only did I not say Brandon was a bad player, I will say that he is a great player. You have had selective hearing or something and jumped on a few FACTS that I mentioned that happen to be negative. Like I said I am a HUGE fan of Warren and of course I was upset when he chose to leave FSU. Can you imagine how excited I was when he signed there? I wish him the best I was simply pointing out some things I noticed about him from watching every game while he was at FSU. Take it how you want. My good friend on this board can tell you that 1 year ago I told him "There is absolutely no chance Warren plays offense at UT." Looks like I am already wrong about that one. It's funny because Vols' fans were jumping on me for saying that when it's actually a compliment to Tennessee and degrades FSU's offense.

I stand corrected. I totally misread your statement. Maybe cause I worked all night, Im not sure. I apologize to you and all the other readers. Not only was I wrong, but everyone is now dumber for having read my statement....I am awarded no points...and may god have mercy on my soul.

Big improvement on your avatar btw! :good!:

(and fyi, I smoked the Reading Comprehension portion of the ACT, math as you may have noticed...not as much)

You get twice as many points for this post than you were deducted for the prior ones. No big deal though..........this stuff would be really boring if people weren't bumping heads every now and then.

My avatar still makes me want to bark like a dog. Then I think of those obnoxious UGA fans and hold back.

The English and Reading portions of the ACT were a breeze for me. I was decent in math. I hadn't taken Chemistry yet, didnt study at all, and was tired so I got frustrated with the Science section. I put C for every answer and scored a 15 on the Science! That is 1 point away from passing which reinforces the "when in doubt put C" theory. Needless to say that brought down my score though. The moral here? Teach your kids to prepare for the ACT, but if they happen to not be prepared just put C

All the reading for nothing....I have to agree with those couple of posts. I am the OP on this topic.

All I wanted was info about his elgibility....not ACT score and JB Cooter compared to the greatest Olypmic athete ever.

C'mon guys....anything about his elgibility would be appreciated. Whenever it is available

That was already discussed earlier. STILL NO WORD. You couldn't find that part? I absolutely love when people get mad because others have a conversation in their thread. It makes my day.

The entire thread is related to Brandon Warren. People stray off topic a bit sometimes. It's called a message board. Welcome. People debate sports here. That is what is interesting, not the exchange of one question and one answer per thread.

Now in case you missed it.......I asked if you went to Maryville High School?

Still no news on Brandon Warren.

However,Hyams just said he called the SEC office and they said that the decision is no longer in Slive's hands,
The SEC office now says that the hold-up is with the NCAA.
The NCAA gave Warren a waiver on residency requirements last week and is now being reviewed by the NCAA on "Progress Toward Graduation" Review Board

My god what is the deal with this. The NCAA is a joke.
