I was traveling the last couple days and could only read clips every so often but I saw somewhere where he said Coach Z would be his coach and he was really happy about how they were going to use him in the slot and get him in space.

So what position are we looking at him at

Stealth back. His small size makes it easy to place a cloaking device on his helmet. It's a prototype so is effective for only 8 seconds. By which time he is beyond the line of scrimmage, in 6th gear, and unlikely to be caught before scoring.
