Does anyone else think Fulmer will keep Brady as HC for another year and let things settle down. Just think all the money UT has to pay out to Jon Currie, Butch and all his coaches.

Hoke would be a solid hire. He had a better record at Michigan than Harbaugh does now at the same point in time. Might be the next legendary Vols coach.

I think this could be the worst thing we can do. Not only will we lose even more recruits this year then we already have, but nobody will commit to UT next year if they know Hoke is a 1 year lame duck.

There's still plenty of quality coaches out there, let's get one.

If he does it will be apparent that he did not watch the last two games.

No. With already paying Butch’s buyout, firing Currie, and this entire chit show......it would all be for nothing if he kept Hoke.

I don't see it, OP. If the coaching search goes sideways, it may be forced upon us. But I don't think it is the first, second, or even third choice for Phil/UT.

No. He may stay as DL coach though.

if u were going to do that then there's no point in appointing fulmer to begin with.

No way. And if the administration finds a way to fire Currie for cause, which I do believe they’re trying to do, we’ll save $5.4mm.

1. John Currie is being fired with cause.

2. We offered Gundy $7M a year, don't think money is an issue.

3. Brady Hoke sucks. Bad.

Additionally, it costs us more money to fire him then keep him around. If we wanted, we could his office in the broom closet and forgetting about him for a few years.

He is better off negotiating with Tennessee to get out of the contract.
