Brady Chokes!

What's wrong with being a homer and loving your team and loving the guys that you used to go to Knoxville to watch play, (except for Stallworth, Kelley Washington and Rashad Baker, I hate the Pats). UT is only 4 years of their football career. After that they go on to bigger things. Here's a homer statement. But I feel it's true. If Tee Martin was Bledsoe's backup in 2001 then he'd have 3 rings. And Tom Brady would be hosting Talkin' Big Ten Football.
:eek:lol:

I hate emoticons, but I can't really say anything at this point.

I think it makes it so much better that the Pats were undefeated and their entire season means nothing now.

The last drive by Eli might be the best of all time. That play to Tyree was one we will be seeing for a long time.

The Mannings are Brady's Florida. :)

your being a UT homer and all, I'm very disappointed in this unabashed stiffarm to Fulmer. Your homerocity might not be as high as indicated by earlier silliness. Might wanna reflect a bit before saying more.

It wasn't a shot at Fulmer really, I just LOVE Bruce Pearl. I think he may end up being the best College Basketball coach since Dean Smith. The fact is though, even though the Great Pumpkin is a GREAT coach, he's the 3rd best at UT. And for the record anyone that thinks Phil needs to go is basically retarded.

Peyton never beat Florida. Brady hasn't beaten both Mannings multiple times. Not a good comparison. Everything else about your post is spot on.

Dude!

He couldn't win a CFL title.

There's a handful of guys coaching college ball right now that are already better than Dean Smith.

Not only do you know everything about football, but you are great at detecting sarcasm.

you're the one saying Big Ben is a better qb than Brady simply because it'd be more fun to sit in a deer stand with him. I wouldn't try to brag about knowledge if I were you.

you're on a roll, bro.

So you're good with CBP winding up right behind Dean Smith, who is behind about 15 others?

I think Phil needs to go. Color me retarded.

If I recall, Bledsoe got healthy and Brady stayed at the helm because he was flat better.

But we digress, what does that have to do with absurdity about Brady not being a starter for the Giants? You actually said that.

And Brady got hurt in the AFC Championship game. Bledsoe took over. Which one started the Super Bowl that year?

There goes that arguement

Phil wasn't the problem. It was Cutcliffe. We got a young new OC it's what we needed. And as far as recruiting goes he's one of the best there is. The talent coming in and out of K-Town speaks for itself.

Think about it guys who would you rather go huntin with? Brady or Favre.

I'd go with either of them since they could get me on some pretty good land anywhere in the US. But I'd choose Favre for the actual hunt but Brady wins since he could set-up a Victoria Secret fashion show back at the lodge.

so records, stats, super bowl rings, those don't matter. apparently the nfl combine should also include a duck hunt. makes sense to me.

Like who?

And don't say Roy Williams cause he learned everything he knows from Dean Smith.
Tiger learned golf from several people and he can still be the hell out of any one of them. In fact he might beat all of them with them playing best ball. Silly argument about students never surpassing the teacher. In fact, I think a part of the teacher's function is to make sure they're surpassed.

The list of those greater than Smith is fairly long if you want to cover the 47 decades he coached, but today's crowd is headed by Knight and K, both of whom should be insulted to be lumped in with Smith. There are many others, but these two are at the fore.

And besides isn't this the VOLNATION? I'm in Chattanooga. The South. I personally don't like Brady, because he's an overrated pretty boy from Michigan. No NFL QB should wear a manpurse or have highlights in his hair. He's a sniveling little girl.

Brady is from California.

Joe Namath wore some pantyhose and he went to Alabama.

Erik Ainge had highlights at one point and time here at Tennessee.

BPV beat me to it, but K and Knight would obviously get the nod above Smith. It should be no debate that Knight has cemented his spot as the second best coach of all time behind the Wizard.

also anyone that would even pretend to put Roy Williams at the top of any coaching list is kidding themselves.

OK. We hear this great recruiting thing all the time and I agree that it is his strong suit.

So riddle me this, if he's bringing in such a wealth of talent, why do we have no hardware to show for it over the past 9 seasons? Either the recruiting isn't as good as advertised or the coaching is really, really bad. Take your pick.

The overall coaching staff especially offensively over the years has been really bad. Randy Sanders and then the return of the "Great" David Cutcliffe has been the problem. Dave Clawson will end up being a great decision, just wait.
