Brady Ackerman on SEC Football Tonight Said . . . .

Recorded SEC Football Tonight and just now watched it. Not a lot was said about UT/Mizzou except that all three hosts thought Mizzou would win. But Ackerman made a statement about our defense. He said (and I'm para-phrasing) . . . Tennessee's defense is horrendous and I can't understand it. They've given up 50 runs for 10 or more yards and I don't understand it. I've been around some of their players, they've got great athletes, they've got Kurt Maggitt, A.J Johnson who could play for anybody in this league, yet still their defense is terrible. I don't think they make a bowl game. Not a big Brady Ackerman fan but he speaks the truth. Thoughts?

Good effort you got his last name right but it's CURT not Kurt.

he is right about us having the great athletes,in A.J. AND Kurt Maggitt,MCcullers,Sentimore,J.Smith,but when the other 7 on the field try and hit and not tackle or line up wrong it doesn't matter how bad ass the(athletes are or perform)....they go for not....5 out of 11 can't and will not stop Sec opponents or troy for that matter.....and by the way ackerman is a jorts wearing gator hugging pole and smoke kind of guy...

I think we win by ten. Their offense isn't exactly high powered They will score, but won't be able to keep up in the offensive slugfest. Jmo.

Im gonna say what brady really wanted to. This guy sal sucks and needs to go. He is killing them.

I don't see us losing 2 of the next 3, which is what will have to happen for us to not be bowl eligible.

I only care about getting WINS!

They get paid to write or say something so most will say anything just to keep their job and stir the pot.

please don't confuse great athletes with great football players. watch the film. aj johnson can't get off a block to make a tackle near the line of scrimmage. time after time he had a chance to stop the draw and never laid a hand on the running back. he is good at running a guy down and making a tackle 7 yards past the line.

Candy and Mizzou are more than capable of beating us. All they have to do is stop the offense 4 or 5 times and we are screwed. I m not even going to think about a possibility that UK can beat us in back to back years

They have 1 more SEC win than us and went to Florida and played them to a 14-7 defeat. I am just wanting people to come back down to reality....we made Troy's offense look like it was Oregon's last Saturday. The level of talent is going to be a huge step up from that. Our secondary will more than likely make Dorial Green-Beckham look like Julio Jones or A.J. Green this Saturday. James Franklin will probably look like the second coming of Terrelle Pryor Saturday too. If this defense quits like they seemed to for the entire Troy game minus 2 possession's then the VolNation will be in complete meltdown by 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

florida has NO offense. they scored on us but who doesnt.

mizzou will score on us but we will score also. i remember a game earlier this year where the db's were the strenght of the team and bray torched them at least twice(nc st game) with bombs.

the rest of your post is spot on tho except the 5:00pm it'll be more around 3:30pm lol
