I've started to notice this as well. It's like an Armchair and Darth rolled into 1 poster, however unlike Darth and Armchair, this one has a slight obsession with UCONN.

Wouldn't be a bit surprising for the LVs to get bad seeding. Wish we could move up to a 6 seed in the ND or Baylor bracket. No easy path but UConn bracket is death row.

Maybe more than in years past, it feels like the conference tournaments across the board could really shake things up from the 2-line all the way down to 7, 8, 9.

The Lady Vols will certainly have opportunities to improve their seeding with the game at MSU and the SECT. A realistic best-case scenario might be to win out the games we're supposed to, play well (even if a loss) at MSU, and pull off a win over Mizzou, Kentucky, or aTm in the SECT quarterfinals. Then hope that some teams nearby on the S-curve bow out early of their conference tournaments (e.g. Syracuse, NC State, Kansas State, Miami...).

And hope they avoid Ole Miss or Auburn in the SECT early rounds.

If they win these next 2 regular seasons game & win the sec tourney they could possibly be a 3 or 4 seed.

Their mindset (which has really been a problem) and Holly's approach should be to say damn a seed. We are UT, we are the Lady Vols, there are standards that we set and from here on out Nobody is beating us the rest of this year. Give it all you got and leave every damn thing on the floor. I understand people want favorable seeds but we are Tennessee basketball dammit, we built this thing!

But I know it wont be said, and excuses will be made if there is an early exit and if somehow some way we get the luck of the draw like last year (and teams get upset like we didn't expect) I hope we get it done this year.

The talent is there, it's the willingness to get it done is what I am concerned about!

True, but the likelihood of doing so is slim. They would need help from the other teams to not bring their A games.

We should beat Florida but were terrible on the road think if we could win three more games back to a five seed.

They beat SC on the road, so they aren't too bad.

MSU is a different story. They have not played down to their competition in some time, and I have a sense that Dominique Dillingham would rather leave in a hearse than have her Senior Night ruined.

To get to a 5 seed, I think they need to beat Florida, make at least the SECT final, and hope for some upsets. And then the privilege of playing a 4 seed for the right to play UConn in the S16 💀

If the lady vols play to their ability every game they wouldn't need anyone help to win. The talent is there they just don't show up consistently but maybe that will change in the sec tourney because they know how important it is for NCAA seeding & a championship is on the line.

I think if MSU, SC and Tennessee all play to their abilities, then Tennessee comes in 3rd.

Reynolds and Jackson are too much of a liability.

I agree Jackson & Reynolds have to play better especially on offense for the lady vols to win it. South Carolina isn't very good to me, going into the season I didn't think they would lose a game because on paper they seemed to have so the most talent in the country. Their guards are terrible (except Alisha gray) & Coates doesn't show up for the big games.

Middleton has really stepped up in the last couple of games so that gives them another scoring option.

We will see a stronger offensive game from MeeJay this week.

Jordan is 3 to 1 in assists to turnover-ratio. No one else is even close to that on our team.
In fact Jordan is #17 in the country for WCBB in this ratio

It's not like Jordan is actually creating shots for her teammates, any point guard would have a good assist to turnover ratio if they never attacked the basketball or did anything on offense besides give the ball to diamond, Jamie & Mercedes & watch them score. Jordan is awful.

Jordan's stats are what they are because of her safe play, yes...But the way UT fans call anything that is in any way a high risk pass, we beat them up if it ends in a TO, and we consider a successful one a highlight. . . I would be hesitant too.

As a coach I consider "high-risk, high reward". I would definitely like to see her attack them rim and attack with her pull-up J, much more.

"You got to risk it to get the biskit"

#5 seed🤔😳 How did that happen? We'd have to be a top 20 team to be a #5 seed.
