BR has Barnett at #4 Most Terrifying

That writer needs to be canned. He states that now Barnett can play without any restraint. Then in the next sentence says not that he's been held back by anything. What on earth does that even mean? Sports journalism is a joke these days.

He might actually be listed #3. Saw the pic of Fournette on page 1, but he is actually #6 on the list. Sorry.

Why is it that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves? Garrett and Allen are both amazing players, but I wouldn't trade Barnett for either. Do they see something I don't? Do they ignore the numbers? Do they just refuse to admit that the player they didn't have ranked as high is just as good as the players they had ranked so high out of high school? What is it?

I think it's because, when you look at him, he doesn't look like your prototypical dominant edge rusher. Physically, I think they have doubts about his game translating because of that. Personally, I think he will dispel those doubts because if you look at his production, it's come against his stiffest competition.

Also, your avatar is simply amazing.

Agreed. He'll most likely break White's UT sack record, and I think he'll do just fine at the next level. I'm not sure he has quite the size or speed as other top players, but he has the heart, and his motor is unrivaled. I'm glad he's a VFL and hate to lose him.

And thanks. One of my all time favorites. Wish we had a couple more like him.

I doubt he would fall to the Steelers in the draft, but they would salivate to get their hands on Barnett.

Good example of a player who plays with great leverage. In run support equally with his ability to pass rush. Was taken back by that when he was a true freshman.

The line Allen plays on you really need to double team every player. Garrett has a near doppelganger in D. Hall at the other DE position.

Barnett has Vereen who is good but the troubles at DT have enabled Barnett to be double teamed nearly every play.

robbed. He should be #1

I'm terrified of him and I'm one of the good guys

For this obvious mistake, Brian Pedersen of Bleacher Report will soon be the most terrified sports reporter.

cue the jaws music...Barnett is on the prowl for you Brian...TBC

Cowboys trade up for him, their #1 need!

They trade Romo and get Johnathan Allen to complement Barnett.

ahh, I got to quit sleep typing!

Best DE in the country and it's not even close anymore. He gets held on literally every play and still makes an impact.
