Boyd, who committed to West Virginia in March but changed his mind last month, visited the Knoxville campus last weekend. He said he is aware of the rumors regarding Vols coach Phillip Fulmer’s job status, but he’s confident there won’t be a change.

“I know people are talking about that, but when I spoke with Coach Fulmer and their athletic director (Mike Hamilton), they told me they didn’t think anything was going to happen,” Boyd said. “Plus, I have to like the school in general. And I love the school.

Really... he could take some snaps tonight... For that matter, G Jones is the only guy I'd consider hard to replace on the offense. Any freaks who want PT as Frosh, especially on offense, should look long and hard at UT.

Concerning, but at this point we need to scrap this staff and rebuild from scratch. If that means losing recruits, it's a price worth paying. Fulmer cannot hold this program hostage with the threat of losing recruits. Not to mention, recruiting hasn't worked out so well for him versus Saban and Meyer anyway.

I read that he had planned on enrolling at WVU early and that was one reason why he cut ties quickly with them. His window of opportunity was very small.
